Title: Traction by hand, curvature improvement but indentations worse?
Post by: DaveAlexander on May 19, 2022, 09:57:52 AM
So since I found out that I had Peyronies, I started to do traction by hand but with breaks in between. My curve is much better when its fully erect but I see indentations developing? Is that because I'm out of the acute phase or what? Kinda confusing that here is improvement in one area but then a new problem arises, anyone knows what is up with that?

That is what happened to me, at the beginning of my curve my indentation was minimal, after hours of traction with the traction device I reduced my curvature but developed deeper dent what it made my penis more unstable

Damn that sounds bad mate, so did you stop traction completely then? Im unsure of if I should stop traction? Or if it is going to make it worse....

Everyone is different, what it works for one man it doesn't for others. The P-shot made my fibrosis worse but for others did help, the point is that we all react differently, for me nothing worked. And every "Peroynes expert" thinks differently, the urologist that I have now strongly supports the use of VED for penis fibrosis but Dr Trost is against its use in favor of traction

Very true we are all different, I'm just scared to continue now. Don't know what to do.

Where are you now, do still do traction or what actions did you take?

I take daily Cialis, Q10, Vitamin E and L-Citrulline. I'm doing little traction with the traction device and I'm starting to do the VED for just 5 to 10 minutes. I'm doing Shockwave therapy and I'll finish the sessions next week. I'm also cutting watching porn and masturbating.

I see, well I think I'm going to take a break from traction now and see what happens. I also need to lay of the porn and mastrubation, I had a long break but relapsed a few times this week. Wish you all the best man, this condition is terrible!! Best of luck.

You too, this condition is so hard for a man, people that don't have our condition don't understand how it feels.

Thank you, and yes it is very hard to deal with. Unless you are going trough it you will not understand. I hope we will get better!

Why do you think Dr trost turns off comments on his YouTube videos?

Not sure not of you mean, what are you implying?

manual traction made my penis worse, I don't recommend it... it only improves symptoms in the short term (like if the fibrosis breaks down) but then the symptoms start again and it gets worse.
that's my experience. I didn't use device.
I think traction might work but combined with some other treatment that prevents fibrosis from forming again.

Sorry to hear that mate, so did it get better when you stopped traction again?

I'm very hesitant to continue now.
