Title: starting again!
Post by: Ukdiabetic on January 07, 2019, 02:24:17 PM
Hi All,

I had been undertaking Vacuum therapy (3 tube method) for around 2 months last year and whilst I hadn't noticed any real improvements re: curvature I did think the quality of erections had improved (suffering somewhat from ED), but towards the end of November I stopped (combination of not enough time in day and then Christmas, plus as the erections had got better the curvature/hinging wasn't as much of an issue with sex.)

Anyways last night I noticed that whilst trying to get an erection that I now appear to have some hour glassing starting at the base of my penis and I struggled somewhat to get an erection! To say I'm disappointed is an understatement!

So I've decided to start again and also make some lifestyle changes that will hopefully make it easier and better undertaking Vacuum treatment, namely earlier to bed to get up earlier and undertake VED before work and too cut down on the drinking (the wife will be so pleased!)

Question is being that I've only just noticed the hour glassing should I wait a couple of months before starting vacuum treatment again or can I jump straight back in?

Cheers for any advice and here's hoping I won't have to find the 20k for an implant!

Afternoon all,

So I've been doing what i said above (3 tube protocol hold for 10 seconds) and this time round I thought I would persevere with the small tube and so far so good as not experiencing the discomfort I did the first time i attempted this last year.

However I've noticed that when I'm finished and withdraw from the tube there is a ring mark about 1/2 inch from the base of my penis where im obviously filling the tube and pushing out by the comfort band. It doesn't particularly hurt and im still getting length expansion in the rube at final pump (couple of mm), just seeking opinions that is ok? Not in any real pain (some discomfort at head end but i guess this is from being forced to be straight) obviously filling the tube and still getting minor length expansion on final pump.

Oh, I'm using the somacorrect xtra and am also taking vitamin e daily and 5mg of cialis every other day this time round.

It's common to have some redness/swelling at the base.  Try more lube, or the flange To improve the seal.
