Title: Topical 8% verapamil cause mood disorder?
Post by: crashbandit on February 17, 2015, 12:32:32 AM
Hello all, hope everyone is well.

FYI about myself, I was having penis pain 3-4 years ago after a sex injury. Thank god it has cured itself. I have very little, if none at all, penis pain. I still get twisting of the flaccid penis after ejaculating but it's not as bad and not painful. I never had erection bends, only pain after ejaculating and flaccid twisting.

I currently have been using topical verapamil 8% because it gives me a great pump penis and seems to jack up my sex drive. But I quit using it in the past because it seems to alter my moods. After using the product for a weeks, I seem to start getting irritated and quick to anger and then a weird depression starts to kick in. I'm pretty sure the mood swings I get only occurs during verapamil usage and evaporates as soon as I stop the topical application.

Has anyone heard or have this happen to them?

No, I haven't, and to be honest, Topical Verapamil is considered a huge waste of time and money around here. Studies never showed that TV could even penetrate the tunica and make it to the plaques in any measurable amount, so the likelihood that it's affecting you systemically is pretty low, I'd say. Regardless, if you're wanting a boost to your sex life, there are MUCH better methods than TV.

Hey Nemo,

That's so weird. I can definitely feel it working. I get a wicked penis pump all day long after putting this crap on. I love it but the like I said about the mood altering, I just can't justify the penis pump for the mental drain.

I guess I'm a rare bird :o
