Title: Restorex success stories?
Post by: tp1391 on March 29, 2021, 06:44:27 PM
I want to hear about your Restorex results.

Been browsing a number of threads casting doubt on the device, and I'm looking to see if there are some voices in favor to counter some of that.

I have been using RestoreX for about 3months now and I see an improvement of about 5 degrees in the curve and an increase in length. It has done little for my indentation/ hourglass so far. If you want a device that will prevent length loss and gain some length with minimal time wearing it then RestoreX is a pretty good device. I will continue wearing it for long term as my doctor suggests , full results aren't visible till 6 months and moreover, the first couple of weeks using, you essentially are still adjusting and learning how to wear the device properly.

Hi tp - are you counter-bending or straight traction only? How are your results now?

Did you gain back lost length or new length?

Hope you have found more success.

Combined with Xiaflex , I did restore X and my curve decreased by a lot. I went from about 50 to 55 degrees to about 28 degrees. I do feel however that xiaflex shortened the top bit by about 0.3 inches or so. So in all I have lost about 0.5 inches of length and have not been able to recover this from RestoreX so far. If I want using resoterX and did Xiaflex maybe I would have lost more length.

I did the complete protocol which is 15 min straight and then 15 minute counterbending at 90 degrees. Repeated twice a day for about 9 months. Now I just do traction twice a week to mantain results.
