Hi dear friends.
I developed it in April 2012, when I was young teenager. Since then some parts of hair are turning grey. But, hair is not a problem. The worse is - sometimes it is hard to walk, the numbness area directly facing the jeans and it gives so disgusting discomfort during walking in hot weather that reflects on mind. Sometimes I prefer just sitting rather than walking.
As we all know this condition also controls mind. It is hard to concentrate on job. My family don't know the reason of my jobless. They often say me to find a job. They often try to compare me with successful people and it's drives me mad, because they don't know my issue. I keep it as a secret. I know it is not cool to be jobless. I know it is a shame to ask money from a family. But, I can't work - it is impossible to focus on it and I remember how the director asked me why I'm so slow etc. But I could not answer him the real reason. It's very hard sometimes. So, It is unclear about the future.

Find something, best outside not unhealthy, you can have fun with and "loose yourself" in.
Peyronies tends to occupy mind all day and then other things don't work. But if you look objectively from outside it's not 100% of life. Like penis is only 1 part of body.
Do you have an official diagnosis? Maybe the pain is due to something else and can be treated...
TonySa, Hi. Never been officially diagnosed. I don't have a pain. Only constant discomfort and it distracts me from a daily life.
Def see a doctor, constant discomfort is not normal and could be something completely treatable.

Melting, I like your positive attitude to this "issue". But, personally for me - it's hard to stay always positive, because television, fashion, media and happy people around and everywhere reminds me about my "issue".

Not always positive, just smilling all day wont work ;)
Changing your mind and "position" to the things you list is the key to not get depressed. I would bet some of the people on TV have similar issue but make a nice face ;)
