Many men have acquired peyronies from injectioning erectile dysfunction drugs. Estimates range from 4% (one medical study) to upwards of 20+% (anecdotal evidence). I'd try all oral meds first and then VED. If these fail and you decide to try injections it's imperative that you follow the protocol closely including compressing the injection site immediately for 8-10 minutes. Don't just wait for the external bleeding to stop as you need all internal bleeding to stop as well. If it doesn't, coupled w the resultant erection it could cause micro damage and possibly peyronies. If you notice any changes in size (wasting, hourglassing) or a curve immediatly stop and consult a specialist.

I would echo everything in Tony's post and add. Make precise objective measurements of length, girth, and shape of your penis before injecting. Regularly monitor for changes. If changes are noticed stop injecting and consult your physician AND REFUSE TO START INJECTING AGAIN REGARDLESS OF WHAT HE SAYS. I had a well know sexual health doctor from Manhattan tell me to keep injecting. I refused and never went back. He would have had me a total mess if I would have listened.
Trimix caused my Peyronies Disease.
My urologist did not warn me.
As Tony said, many of us are here because of injections. In fact, this forum exists because I got Peyronies Disease from injecting Bimix. Not only did Dr. Mulhall not warn me, he denied it could cause Peyronies Disease even though the drug literature warns that it can cause, scaring and fibrosis.
If I had gone straight to an mplant after oral drugs it would have saved me from developing Peyronies Disease and loss of length, not to mention given me a much more spontaneous sex-life.
I developed peyronies in 2008, it stabilized over the years without excessive curvature or pain. I have been using 100mg twice daily Pentoxifylline for years and have not experienced any side effects. I also use various other supplements. As time has gone by, all oral erection meds have stopped working. I have been using the trimix formula since May with good success. How ever the autoinject supplied by the Men's Clinic was a disaster. The barrel of the apparatus covers so much surface area that a specific correct spot can not be seen. I was instructed to inject one inch from the penis base, which is too close to the scar tissue plaque. On my 4th injection I hit the plaque and the needle did not penetrate far enough and all the trimix injected just under the surface making a swollen black and blue ugly mess. I bought some 31 gauge 5/16 inch long needles and now manually inject. I induce a partial erection, pull back the foreskin and inject 1 inch from the penis head. It works great and I don't get any bleeding.
But still compress the site for 8-10 to stop ALL internal bleeding which otherwise can lead to microtrauma and peyronies.
why not injecting into the glans, so as not to perforate the tunica and the corpora?
I am pretty sure that the glans "communicates" with the corpora and hence this should be just as effective, while much safer...
Oh no, don't think so as the glans is part of the corpus spongiosum vs corpus cavernousa ystem I believe.
«Functional and radiologic evidence of vascular communication between the spongiosal and cavernosal compartments of the penis»: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9145982
and here's anecdotal evidence that it works, from https://www.FT/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=633 :

and, from the same thread:

Note that everybody was making up objections and these two brave folks said to themselves "all these objections are BS" and went ahead and injected their glans. Some of the most recurring objections were like: «if it were possible, doctors would tell us» (yeah sure, my ex was a medical student and all they do is learning to answer closed answer quizzes). Or: «it must hurt much more than the shaft», but that was disproved.
Also, while I am there, all the urologists who don't recognize the existence of the soft glans syndrome are wrong, including dr. Lue that told me it must be in my head:

What good would it do?
Except for experimenting if you can get the corpus spongiosum fibrotic too besides the corpora cavernosa and the tunica albuginea...
I know the feeling, Hawk.
I wish my urologist had warned me. In hindsight, I could have sued him for lack of informed consent. But being a physician myself, I opted not to. I am still very bitter about it though. And this only happened after 3 or 4 injections. I guess some people are just sensitive to the medication.
Great find peyron, seems much safer re acquired peyronies than through the tunica!
Just my 2 cents on what works for me. I use a 31 gauge 5/16" insulin syringe. This is plenty long enough and I"m 5.5" girth when flaccid. Also I inject at 11 or 1 o"clock at the very base. Been doing this for years no issues what so ever.
How long do you apply pressure after injection?
I would love to start injecting pentox solution through my glans -- since they also sell it in vials.
But I have never performed an injection in my entire life, let alone on myself or even on my penis/glans
where to start from?
I acquired Peyronies with in 3 months after starting TriMix Injections. My measurements were 7 3/4 inches length and 5 3/8 inches in Girth with a slight downward curve. With in a month, I started getting an upward curve about 2 inched from the head. In a couple more months my upward curve was getting close to 90 degrees and my length was decreasing dramatically but my Girth was increasing. A couple months later my Penis stabilized with an upward curve about 25 degrees and a girth of 6 inches and a length of 6 1/4 inches. I did lose 1 1/2 inches in length but gained 5/8 of an inch in girth. My G-F seems to like my upward curve and the larger girth. My previous longer-than-average length would hurt her during full penetration. So all in all, is wasn't a total loss. Although I am planning of using Restorex Traction Device to see if I can decrease the curvature.
