Title: Moving from introduction - use of VED or traction
Post by: Yardbird on August 19, 2020, 08:26:57 AM
I am replying to Hawk in the 'introduction' section, but understand I needed to move out of there.
I have never entertained the idea of VED as I honestly always considered them a sex shop novelty item. Now looking from the other side of the coin, I see the purpose. Do you recommend a place to purchase? As for traction, this is new to me. I looked around on the forum and found a definition, but no details yet. Is this also a device to be purchased?
As for massage or milking, yes I have tried that with no effect yet, but I try it every few days.

It should be noted that all three urologists I have seen for peyronies, including the so-called penis specialist, never mentioned any of these therapies to me.

One more thing. It's about 2 1/2 years from the first onset. Is it too late for pentox if I could get someone to prescribe it now? I'll have to check for interactions first, but I thought I'd see what you thought. I figure it's too late.

Here is my insurance situation. Already on ACA insurance. Premiums are ridiculous. deductible is high. My financial condition is poor.

Thanks for your all input,
Yardbird

Welcome, be sure to read the survival guide https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057. All the therapies you mention could help w Peyronie's even 2 1/2 years since onset.

Some urologist don't know or care squat about Peyronies Disease.  MAny well-known reputable urologist recommend either or both.

Can I ask what size your circumference is at the base ? then we can have a discussion about brand model

Sorry about my ignorance. Is this a flaccid or erect measurement you're asking for? I'm kind of clueless on this.

if you are 5 1/2" or less erect at the base I would consider the Vacurect if you want a single cylinder VED. They are moderately priced, compact, simple design, durable, and much better for sex in my opinion.

If you are looking for a VED more for  focusing on treatment of the bend then the 3 cylinder Agusta Medical Soma Correct is your best consideration.  It is pretty pricey and I have no personal experience with it.  It is best to go to the VED Board in the Peyronies section of the forum.  You are currently in the ED section of the forum.

5" circ. erect at base to answer your original question.  Whether this is for Erectile Dysfunction or for bend treatment? I don't know. I have good erectile response, but the peyronies has caused bending and narrowing and shortening with this narrowed shaft very pliable. Not useful for penetration.  Sorry to be so confused but I'm still wading through all this info after finally figuring out that my urologists have left me hanging, so to speak.
