Title: Pentox or Cialis side effect?

Have been taking prescription Pentox 3x per day for about 3 months, generic Cialis from River Pharm for about 6 weeks. Have been having diarrhea/loose/watery stools for the last two or three weeks. Trying to figure out if it's the Pentox or the Cialis causing it - both seem to indicate diarrhea as a possible side effect.

Have stopped the Cialis to see if that clears it up ... but have any of you had the same problem related to either one of these?

Hi Nemo,

Pentox affected my lower GI tract as well: lots of gas and loose stools. This improved when I reduced my caffeine intake, spaced out the dosages properly (3 times per day, but at least 4 hours apart each dose) and took it with meals.

I will just say that my experience with Pentox was similar to Skjaldborg experience.

Thanks. After 3 days off Cialis, I'm not seeing any change, so I'm beginning to suspect it might be the Pentox. I may reduce dosage to 2x per day and see if that helps.

Myself will go back on Pentox in a few months time.
Will start again with one, increase to two and then three.
