I'm still trying to persevere with my traction routine but I keep finding myself needing to stop after a couple of weeks in a row because it eventually leads to pain.

Im doing 30 mins straight traction twice per day and I'm not even burying the white lines at this point. So very much keeping things conservative.

I might get the odd twinge here and there but I never experience any sharp or significant pain during the stretch...but the next day I get that sunburn type feeling right in the middle of the plaque.

I just don't know what to do.

I decided to order Restorex, my question is can I use it successfully while I'm undergoing Shockwave therapy. I saw that they also sell some pumps supposedly specifically designed for Peyronie's. Has anyone used one and how long does it take to see results?

CeraVe is a good brand. They make lotions, creams, soaps, etc.
I use a good CeraVe soap for my face and my penis under the shower.

I would guess maybe 12* to the left. It looks more congenital than a peyronies deformity though. You shouldn't have any problems with sex in general though. Just be careful with positions with your partner riding you so you don't slip out. Also remember to have a rock hard erection.

I use either Gold Bond lotion or CeraVe lotion. Keeps things supple and moist.

Progression of Peyronies Disease / Assesment of degree of curvatu...

Hi, guys,
I'd like some help measuring this curvature. When I started feeling symptoms 9 years ago, I think it measured 15 degrees to the left, but now I don't know any more.
Could you help me with this? I think it's somewhere between 10 and 20.
Would you qualify it as a small curvature or medium curvature?

Oral Treatments for Peyronie's Disease / Cyclaplast cream

Hello,

I just would like to share a cream I use to lubricate my glans and skin (I am uncircomcized) after I take off the tape that I use for the RestoreX.

When I take off the tape my glans is very dry, so the skin doesn't slip well over it.

I put some cream called CYCLAPLAST of LAROCHE-POSAY. It's a well known cream against scars for repairing the skin. Since the plaques are scars, I would say that can help. It's of course difficult to say if it clearly helps, but it does make sens for me (and also lubricate). Plus: it stays under the skin so it has the time to absorb through my skin.
A told that to a urologist, he said it's ok to use that cream.

Also a massage on the plaques can help, since physiotherapists use only there hands to make them dissapear. I believe a massage on the plaque 5min/day can help. One of the 5 urologists I saw for Peyronies Disease told me to do that. It makes sens for me.

Good luck to everyone

Hello PleaseFindACure,

Thanks for your interesting message and sorry for late response.
After all I red + my own perceptions/observations and my appointments with the doctors, I think indeed that my fear of the title of this topic is now gone.

The traction helped me in a first instance (I corrected a big curve), so I'm in to use a few months more.

But still... I have a strange condition. At very first, I only felt a plaque at left side. That plaque has now totally softened except a very small part that has calcified (I think--> I have to check that again with ultrasound).

Then an hourglass effect appeared without feeling any new plaques.

Now, I can feel a dorsal plaque and a right plaque. How is that possible ? Those plaques have always been there, but now hardened ? Anyway, they don't make my penis bend or provoque other dents (until now...).

Yes, the traction remodels the plaques. It's true, I can see it.

Anyway, I trust the RestoreX. It gave me good results. So I'm ready to give it another try to break down those new plaques.

Can you explain me the following terms you used please:
Fibroblasts --> myofibroblasts
Hypertrophic scars + keloids

Hello,
I think that there is a James1947 that has written in many posts that he has corrected more than one dent with tadalafil 2,5mg and long term VED use.

I'm also using it since a few months. I don't know if it really helps me, but it doesn't make it worse anyway.

Good luck
