Progression of Peyronies Disease / Plaque Position
Last post by McQueen - Today at 05:53:46 AM
Is it unusual to have the plaque at the opposite side to the bend ?

I currently have an upward bend, but I can feel a lump on the underside of the shaft !

Anyone else have similar, or could it be the lump is something different ?

Thank you

Quote from: MrDoh on Today at 04:20:54 AMI noticed in the pictures that you have quite a bit of exposed length of the black bars showing. You would get more traction force if you make that exposed length much shorter. That is, pull the body of the traction device more clicks away from your body before you release the springs by pushing the body of the device towards you. Even though you can't see the white rings on the black bars, the traction force gets weaker as more of the bars are exposed

Yes what MrDoh has stated.

For me I developed a pea size lump with pain. After a month my glans developed a 45 degree upward curve practically overnight.

That is, pull the body of the traction device more clicks away from your body before you release the springs by pushing the body of the device towards you. Even though you can't see the white rings on the black bars, the traction force gets weaker as more of the bars are exposed (the springs become more extended). Kind of intuitive if you think about springs exerting more force the more compressed they are.

And you'll feel the difference when you start with about the shortest exposed length of the black bars that you can get.

Not sure if this makes sense to anyone else, hard to explain without a picture.

Penile Implants / Re: Implant Afterlife

It's usually difficult to get out of a cushioned chair with a semi-hard penis. It angles slightly down as you try to move forward to stand and it stabs the cushion. That, and trying to sit on a toilet with a semi-hard means watching it carefully or ramming the seat with a pole. Not pleasant.

Not complaining, just saying.

Welcome aboard! Just like LWillis said. I don't think I have read any accounts of members benefiting from shockwave and unfortunately doctors sell it as a treatment that provides some benefits to patients in despair for something that works.

You are already ahead of the game but pursuing those therapies. (vacuum/traction). The key thing with those is following the recommended protocols and stick to them for a substantial amount of time.

Taking pictures of your condition could help you better gauge the progression of the disease. Please stay focused, and stay with us.

I have not heard of anyone having improvement or success with soundwaves.

For me, I developed a 40 degree curve in about 2 days. There was no initial dent or anything. One day straight, 2 days later a 40 degree curve.

Quote from: KrillinIt on May 01, 2024, 02:17:55 AMWhat can I do?
So anyway, given everything I've just said in here, what advice do you all have for me? Also some questions:
1. Will it be possible for the twisting to reverse when the fibrosis heals?
2. Will I regain strength in the injured side when the fibrosis heals (when flexing it)?
3. What can I do to reduce sensitivity on the injured spot?

And I forget the rest because it's 2 AM but I've been wanting to make this post for a while now and had a ton to share so I just had to get it all out.

Please recommend anything you know that has genuinely helped you, and if you think it would be possible for me to make a full recovery. Also feel free to direct me to other parts of the forum as I know responses are limited here. Moral support is welcome as well.

I read this when you initially posted it. I'm sure others did as well. We aren't ignoring you, you are asking questions that are difficult to answer. Will it reverse itself, will you get strength back, etc...  we don't know. You will find support here and it seems you are already trying some good things like cialis, pentox, etc.

Yes Peyronies sucks. There is no silver bullet that works for everyone. It does involve some trial and error to see what works for you.

This was a good introductory post but is not intended for ongoing dialog. Feel free to post specific questions in the appropriate questions of the forum.

If you Peyronies is "Active"...  I don't know of anything that can stop it. But traction, VED, etc. can help minimize the impact.
