I am not sure if there are any videos of traction in general. There are printed documented resources available in the resource area of the forum -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,7299.0.html .

There are a lot of articles to read. I know you are probably very worried about it and this is normal with any man who has peyronies. We have all had to deal with anxiety and worry. Traction does help with slowing down damage from peyronies and can help with regaining any lost length/size. It feels strange and weird when you start out but I assure you that you will get use to it.

Introduce Yourself / Hello
Last post by Voluntold - Today at 04:14:34 AM
I'm 52, married (26 years) and have been  living in the Atlanta area all my life.  I'm getting more frustrated every day! I've had Peyronies Disease for over a year that appeared out of the blue. I just had my first urology visit 2 weeks ago and still have more questions than ever. I'll start with this; who's been treated for Peyronies Disease, what type of treatment, did it work and how pleased are you with the results?

Hello Arthur,

Thank you for your response!

I've read about people having positive experiences with implants, and I'm considering it as an option if my symptoms worsen or if I develop erectile dysfunction in the future (which I don't have right now). Do you know if implants can restore the girth and length I've already lost? Also, is it possible for them to increase girth and length beyond what I originally had? I've come across some reports of people noticing significant increases in girth after several months, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Regarding Ashwagandha, I've noticed a slight decrease in libido while using it, so I'm thinking of stopping it unless I'm dealing with significant stress.

I thought life couldn't get any worse, but my phone just fell on my erect penis. I'm getting tired of this crap.

Welcome aboard! You have a difficult case right here. I will try to make a detailed post as soon as I can hererun address some of the points you made.

Please try to stay calm and focused as it can be very hard emotionally to deal with this condition!

Are there any basic video instructions to PTT? Not device specific, just the general concept, and, er, generally where to put your penis.

Mike I am indeed worried about injuring myself from doing traction wrong. Frustration is that supposedly traction should be started ASAP but I need to save and get the PMP to be safe. Injury on top of Peyronies Disease due to incorrect traction would be devastating.

Would love to know this as well. How can Peyronies Disease be so common yet nobody talks about it. Even the many men who have it and suffer in silence. You would think it affects 0.01% of the male population.

In the active phase you have pain, inflammation and progression.
In the chronic phase most of the pain stops and you basically have a scar inside your penis.
Scar tissue (especially if you stretch it naturally with Tadalafil night time erections) can soften over time.

Imho it is important to accept that your penis will never be the same, but try to keep the hope up for natural/long term improvement.

Best wishes

Just discovered the Dr Trost section and his post about spontaneous improvement over years gave me some hope. There is a chance.

Though as you say, I must make peace with my penis and sex life in general never being the same as before Peyronies Disease. Even if I'm fortunate to be one of those with improvement over the years.

The active phase I'm in right now is psychologically challenging because it has kinda fast progression, which is alarming.

I wish some articles on Peyronies Disease would write it as succinct and concise as you did. So much confusion elsewhere.

Some guys swear by Pentox, as OP, but the more I have read about it the less I like its side effect profile. I would have enough to worry about with Tadalafil alone, let alone more hypotension and potential bleeding.

I read somewhere too that even Dr Trost is not generally writing Pentox anymore. So I guess I see it as one of those things to take when the first or second line hasn't worked.

When I first came to this forum I was desperate to take Pentox as it seemed like the miracle cure. Now thanks to OGs here I know probably more sensible to go with Tadalafil and Traction...

Thank the Lord this forum exists - I would have walked straight into the Cialis+Arginine combo without a thought. :/
