I tried to order from an online pharmacy and it got sent back by customs because it says I need a doctors prescription. I went to my urologist and he doesn't even know what Pentox is and won't give me a prescription.
What can I do?
He also says I don't have peyronies because he can't feel any hard plaques but I have slight bend hour glass pain and permanent soft glans
If this Urologist doesn't think its Peyronies, what is his diagnosis? The absence of palpable plaque does not show that Peyronies isn't present, and your symptoms certainly indicate the possibility. An ultrasound would make the situation clearer.
A doctor who's never heard of Pentoxifylline?? Very strange! If you are not in a position to find a more competent Uro, I think you will have to try and educate this one. There are numerous links to papers by some of the World's acknowledged experts on this disease, recommending the use of Pentox in treating Peyronies. You can find these on the site or on the web. I would suggest that you download them and take them to your Urologist. Hopefully, he will be prepared to cooperate.
However, the first step is to get a definitive diagnosis. Clearly, no doctor is going to prescribe treatment for something they don't believe that you have.
More precisely you will find them in the library board.

My urologist was the same way. He had no idea what pentox was. I told him that I have been on a peyronies forum and many of the guys suffering from this says it has helped them. He said that it most likely won't work though. I just said I want to try it. He was cool and gave me the prescription.
Jonbinspain is right in that you should come prepared with research papers next time. If he refuses still then find another as that guy clearly doesn't want to help you.
