Title: Xiaflex opinions wanted

Should I do Xiaflex or not? 40-45* left bend only.  Non-calcified plaque.

If you have an experienced doc, it should help diminish you're curve.  Much better results if pair it with traction.

John,

Move forward with Xiaflex. I had 8 cycles and went from 50-55 degrees to around 25 degrees. Now I have had 4 cycles of Verapamil. Xiaflex, if done by a competent URO should reduce your curve. My URO has seen people go from 50 degrees to zero and he has seen others not improve at all. The average in clinical trials is roughly 30 degrees. Just make sure no sex for the first two weeks.

It's been 3 months? Hold off unless your uro has explained things well enough for you to make an informed decision. Check your PM's

Tsan,

If I have improved any more than another 3-5 degrees I would be surprised. I have two more cycles. I'll do whatever it takes even if I am not getting major results in the hope that something breaks through.
