Title: Massage - bad?
Post by: Noncom on April 04, 2018, 05:42:31 PM
Read this on healthfully.

"Avoid rubbing or massaging the Peyronie's plaques. Pressure on the plaques does not help to reduce them, but causes them to increase in size"

They apparently fact check the advice.

Lots of contradicting info on the net but wondering if any hard studies or science behind why massaging may be good or bad...

...great question. My guess is that it's OK and possibly beneficial to massage when you have stable Peyronies Disease. If in the acute stage I would think it may be a bad idea. I have seen no studies on this topic and I have looked.
