Title: Where to get VED in EU?
Post by: warming on July 16, 2012, 07:04:35 AM
hey guys,
I've been trying to find a place in europe where I can buy a medical grade VED, but no luck so far.
I finally bought one from a Danish company, but it's really not working out, the rubber base of it (comically shaped like a vagina) is very thick and in flaccid state I can only get the tip of my penis through it. Then when I start pumping, only the head swells, as the shaft isn't even inside the tube.
I now have a less than friendly relationship with my uro, as he thinks I'm an idiot for not wanting the nesbitt procedure, and for taking pentox (which I just started on today). So I'd love it if it were possible to buy a medical grade VED without a prescription from him..
Thanks in advance!
Best,
Dean

Hello Dean

Well, in my case i bought my medical VED here:
http://www.imedicare.eu/peyronies.html

Based in UK, i had no problem with them. I phoned to them ( even with my bad english ), just to know if it was possible to buy one because i'm in France.... and of course no problem for that. If i remember i waited 2 weeks for the VED, and all was ok.
Hope it will be the same for you.

Ciao
Laurent

I want does VED has side effects like other treatments. Is there any natural therapy for this disease.

ritzanthony:

As far as I know there are no major side effects of VED therapy. As with any therapy, the VED must be used in moderation and with proper procedures to prevent any injury. There are two protocols listed in the VED board section of the home page index of the forum. You should read these and become familiar with the procedures there and learn more about the therapy.

There are many of us on the forum that have had great success with only a few that have had any bad experiences with VED usage. In my personal case, the VED therapy got rid of all my symptoms by using a VED for just over a year. Today, I have no visible signs of Peyronies Disease. And, I can achieve erections using the VED and a restrictor ring to hold them up long enough for sex.  VED therapy is not an overnight therapy, but must be approached with patience in mind.

There are many guys on the forum, including myself, that will be happy to assist you in any way with VED therapy if you so choose to use it.

I want to second Old Man
I have lost 6 cm to the Peyronies (from 18cm to 12cm).
The beginning of my treatment even that my plaques are calcified as my uro told me, I gain back 1cm, I am now 13cm.
For sure is because of the VED, even that is  one cylinder not a medical one because that time I didn't take any medicines or supplements.

That looks exactly the same as the Augusta Medical SomaErect/SomaTherapy. Can somebody verify that?

Well i bought mine there also, and am very satisfied.
Not really cheap, but i think cheaper than in the states (it has been discussed before)
Actually its called Soma Correct and probably, as old man says, its the same as the Soma STF
http://www.imedicare.eu/products.html
and is 239 british pounds that is about: $370
If i remember correctly it was around $600 in the US (But i could be wrong)

I imported a 3 cylinder pump from Augusta Medical System - the Vitality Treatment System - in March of 2010 and used it until I had an implant operation that August.

I don't need it any more and would be willing to sell it for 1/2 price.

I live in Germany and could send it by mail if you're interested.

Dean:

Just saw a post on this thread stating that this guy had a three cylinder Augusta medical grade VED for sale at half price.

See his post #9 below and maybe you can arrange to purchase this unit.

I have a question specifically on the product from http://www.imedicare.eu/peyronies.html.
Could anyone tell me about the discretion concerning the delivery please?

I have mailed the company but they havent answered yet and I cant wait to get my hands on (and d*** inside) a VED. I asked specifically about whether sender address is visible as well as other markings on the packaging. I would also like to know what courier they are using like is it third parties such as UPS or FedEx?

Im in Europe by the way.

Thank you.

Never:

There was a member in Germany that stated he had a three cylinder VED that he would sell at half price. His post is in the VED board section of the home page index.

You should follow up by trying to contact him. It would be much easier to obtain that unit rather than importing one from the USA mainside based on the problems members who did report.

Old Man:

Thank you for the reply. The company in question is Europe based. They finally answered my questions to some extend; however, they did not mention if sender address would be visible on the package. They mentioned I could pay extra in order to receive my package through UPS or FedEx which Im seriously considering as I could order my product as a local pickup instead. I will however look into your suggestion. Thank you.

I cant wait to commence on VED treatment as I'm currently doing traction with the Andropeyronie from Andropenis. I have a feeling that combined VED, traction and oral treatment with pentox will work wonders on my curvature. Looking forward to updating on my progress.

I had mine sent to the office. It was a plain parcel.
But even when I opened it looked completely plain. just an elderly couple smiling on the box.
It could have been any product inside, you couldnt tell without opening it completely.
As for the sender adress, it did say imedicare Great Britain, but it could have been a sleeve for a tennis elbow, nobody would have seen the difference.

I'm in the UK and I've seen the web page with the Peyronies VED at imedicare.eu but I was just wondering if there are any other options worth considering in the UK? The problem I've found with importing items from other countries and particularly the US is that they tend to get blocked at customs with certain courier companies so import duty is added and the package may be opened. Parcelforce seem to be the worst for this.

I've just ordered the Peyronies VED from imedicare but there is no information about delivery. For those who have already ordered here did you have to wait for long? Also have you seen any improvement in size using this device? Just recently I've noticed a clear loss of length during erections that I would like to reverse.

Update: I've just received an email from imedicare saying it will take 4-8 working days for delivery. I hope it is faster...

I got mine from iMedicare in the UK. I had it delivered to Italy. It arrived in 2 days - no problems

Thanks Davea, that's very fast for delivery to Italy. It took the same time for me in the UK from iMedicare but it arrived in a plain brown package with no problems. They advertise it as SOMACorrect but the box which arrived was called SOMAErect, however it looks the same otherwise.

The one point I would add for anybody else reading this thread is that I don't think the electric pump version is a good idea. Apart from costing more I found it tricky to control precisely and it pumps too quickly, so after a few attempts I switched over to the manual pump and I find it much better.

I agree, Old Man has long recommended only the manual version on this forum for that very reason.

At the UK store iMedicare this is sold specifically as a Peyronies device and I was thinking of sending them an email pointing out that the battery pump actually risks doing damage because the pump is so fast. The first time I used it I felt a tearing sensation on the plaque.

Augusta will sell you an ultra-deluxe kit with one manual pump head, one electric pump head, and one electric pump head having a speed control.

I never saw anything about a battery pump available with speed control on their site and looking now at their products page there is no mention of one. The model I purchased mentioned on their Peyronies page was the SOMACorrect Xtra Plus (Battery) that cost £275 including postage here in the UK. The only options were battery or manual.

Manual pump is much safe than the electrical. Try to find in a pharmacy a vacuum pump that woman using to take out milk from the breast. Is not expensive and you can connect it easy to the pipe of the VED in stead of the electrical.

Buy the way, the tearing sensation on the plaque may be not bad. Maybe it brake it up some how. People that were on the Xiaflex trial wrote about this feeling as two days after the injection a stretching was done.

I'm getting by just fine with the manual pump that was included alongside the battery one. Before using the VED my main plaque had started to feel quite hard and flat as though it was starting to calcify. This was accompanied by sudden curvature and loss of length but the first time I used the VED I felt a definite tearing sensation and I wondered what damage may have been done, however since then, size, shape, pain and curvature have all improved. The plaque itself feels longer but also less rigid than before.

A smaller plaque I had at the base of the penis that was causing a lot of pain initially seems to have disappeared completely during the last month, since I started with a combination of Pentox, Cialis and the VED. Without doubt it takes a certain amount of discipline to keep going with the daily maintenance but you just hope it will lead to a quicker recovery.

It was a joke, which could perhaps only be appreciated by those of us who find it odd that Augusta sells a kit with both an electric and a manual pump.
