Just got the SOMAErect Stf. I started off with three pumps but that had minimal effect. My penis increased in size a little bit inside the cylinder but not by much. It certainly wasn't close to an erection. I did about a dozen more pumps and that seemed to get me close to an erection, but is that too many pumps? I don't want to overpump and cause damage. I didn't experience any pain, just some discomfort at the seal.
3 pumps should definitely make some engorement happen. Make sure you shave your pubes (the area where the seal hits the body)
Also make sure to lubricate properly around the insert and as you push the pump to the pubic area rotate it a little back and forth to make sure you have created a good seal.
Thanks, I'll try again. How much engorgement should I expect?
Based on the protocols on this forum you should pump until your penis has engorged 50% erection.
The protocols on here advise against pumping to max erections because of increased risk of injury.
Pump until you see it engorge maybe to half erections then count to 10 or 15 and let go of the pressure.
Pumping for peyronies rehab seems to be about getting oxygentated blood in and out from the penis in short durations.
Personally for the first 5 rounds, I pump 4 times, hold for 10 seconds then let it down.
After that I do 5 pumps, wait 5 seconds, then progressively add one more pump (then hold for 10s) per round, until I reach around 9 or 10 pumps total. This gets me to ~80% erection where I start to feel a stretch, and I absolutely would not pump any further to that.
YMMV - take it slow, it should not feel uncomfortable *at all*, it should just be the feeling of negative pressure doing its thing.
Thank you for the info and advice!
in my hopinion if you feel a stretch it might already be too much, considering i injured myself and i was feeling just a very slight stretch.
it might be different to different individuals tho
Turns out I had a defective pump. I could hear a faint hiss of air coming out of the pressure release button when I pumped. So I was not able to generate much suction.
Augusta sent me a replacement, and everything is working great now.
