I live in Cleveland and went to a Cleveland Clinic doc I found on here. He did an exam were he felt my penis for plaques and afterward, said he felt nothing and he felt that an expert examination was better than imaging. I didn't know what to say so I said "okay" and that was it. When I got to my car I actually cried because here was this doctor with a recommendation from this site which I find a great resource who basically didn't believe me or something and offered me no explanation to what could be causing me pain. I called the next day and said I would like for him to do imaging because he didn't resolve anything and the nurse called me back and said he didn't think it was necessary and I should just wait. I told her I have no reason to wait because I've been dealing with pain for a year and she said she'd talk to the doctor and get back to me. I never got a call back.
I'm just supremely frustrated.
Sorry to hear that. Quite honestly I would get another doctor. I found my current urologist who specializes in peyronies by looking for doctors that were on the xiaflex website (meaning they at least had some history with peyronies) and then further looking into them and their specialties and reading their reviews online. Here's a link as maybe a good place to start. Best of luck

Go to another doctor and do not give that arrogant scumbag another minute of your life.
Hello tenfour,
Sorry you had that experience. We all feel for you.
A lot of us get more than one opinion, some have gotten 3 or 4!
Absolutely find another uro.
All the best!
On what basis were you originally diagnosed? I was "diagnosed" in march this year based only on discomfort and then undiagnosed months later by a uro that actually seemed to understand that a person is a body -and- a mind. Do you have any obvious deformity after a year of pain? Is this pain worse erect than flaccid?
tenfour, don't dispare. Find another doctor. I know it's an emotional roller coaster. For me, plaque in 3 different forms / shapes were obvious to the touch. Didn't need any imaging to know. Wishing you the best. Hang in there.
Well do you have any ED or curvature? I think that the purpose of the doppler is to check for vasculagenic ED and or identify location of plaque causing deformity. From your signature it sounds like you don't have any deformity or ED? The lumps they cannot really do much for as xiaflex is only indicated for a 30 degree curve.
