Title: Does this work?
Post by: peyroniessufferer on August 27, 2015, 05:40:31 PM
Hi all,

Somewhere on the forum I ran across a post where the guy said he had significant improvement and I was curious what everyone thinks about the supplement regimen he was on. It was as follows:
Pentox 400mg 3 times a day
Acety L-Carnitine 500mg - 3 times a day
Ubiquinol Q-H 200mg-2 times a day
Vitamin E 400 IU - once daily
L-Arginine 500mg- once daily
Fish Oil Omega 3 with Vitamin D 1000 IU - once daiy
Zinc 25mg - once daily
1 B complex with B12 - once daily

I tried pretty much all of those and didn't see an improvement. I've found, at least for me, that systemic drugs didn't do anything. Viagra/Cialis is slightly different in that it's systemic but has strong structural effects on the penis.  The other substances you list... not so much.

Personally I've found that the only thing that helps for me is actual physical (structural) manipulation like stretching and pumping.

But I'd suggest you try everything you can, it might work for you.

The disease is an enigma. What works for one doesn't for another. But, in principle, certainly Pentox has been shown to help with reducing plaque load. ALC has also been shown in studies to.be beneficial. I would replace the arginine with Citrulline Malate, and up the dosage. Ubiquinol will help with general health.
