Erections while sleeping

As you can see from signature below I was on finasteride.  It occurred to me before I realized I had peyronies that I wasn't having any nighttime erections, or while I was sleeping or when I woke up I didn't have any morning wood.  Which was probably a side effect of finasteride (which I think caused my peyronies).  Anyway, since then I was diagnosed with it and I've been on cialis now for about 1.5 months I'm waking up in the middle of the night like at least twice with erections.  I guess that's a good thing.  Does that help anything with peyronies having constant erections.  Is that a positive sign that there's no ED.  Just curious if that happens to other members.  THanks

I also take Finasteride but can't say it caused me any issues, but I know it can do.

Anyway, to answer your question (as best as I can) I would the fact you're not getting nightly erections is a good sign. I too get them very strongly now I'm using 5mg cialis daily.

I don't know if it does anything to peyronie's directly, but it certainly is nice to at least know you can still feel functional.

Taking Finasteride is a time bomb, to start having ED issues. Google it guys. Beware!

My sense is that erections while sleeping are nature's regular maintenance of the penis. Regular blood flow should help with Peyronies. I also take once daily Cialis and noticed more frequent and firm nocturnal elections. Kinda reminds me of my teens and twenties. I have to wait for the erection to subside if I wake in the middle of the night to pee. Either that air stand on my hands! LOL!
Diagnosed in my 30s with mild curve. Now age 55 and curve to left is more pronounced. ED and prostate issues. No pain and once daily Cialis is helping.

I read an article in Mens Health that nighttime and morning erections mean everything is healthy down there.  In our case, take it as a good sign!

Be well.

Thanks.  It's funny because before I had the first signs of peyronies around late Aug/Early Sept I was thinking to myself I didn't get nocturnal or morning erections anymore like in the late spring early summer while I was still on finasteride.  I guess I should have stopped it but it really did help the enlarged prostate.
