Title: Does anyone else get pain relief from squats and working out in general?
Post by: Hazelboy98 on April 28, 2022, 06:28:12 PM
I've noticed my pain is completely gone when I workout, especially squats. Don't know if it's because of the adrenaline or growth hormones but that's been a big game changer in dealing with pain

I dont exercise but i tried stretching, not sure if it works but id guess it relieves the pain while im stretching but not so much afterwards.

After i started to suspect having hard flaccid and not peyronies j looked at exercises for it and found that sitting in squat is stretching the muscles that are supposedly hypertonic, im still wondering though if stretching those muscles helps with peyronies aswell as im trying to figure out what i have.

Maybe you're getting a slight stretch while doing squats or stretching before/after and thats
Whats relieving the pain?

I guess could also be just better blood flow/oxygenation to the tissue while working out, could probably test it with deep breathing i suppose.

Do you know if you have scarring at all?

The MRI couldn't find any inflammation or fibrosis, I feel technology is too primitive to actually find the cause of my pain though

I'm getting a 2nd MRI on May 18th though

I agree that stretching is beneficial. Squats might bring such effect. Many people say such pain might be connected with pelvic muscles issues, not necessarily Peyronies Disease, muscles are tighten too much.

I agree but you also have to keep Pudendal neuralgia in mind, where squatting is not advised. Right now i am trying to find out if i can safely rule Pudendal neuralgia out, then i will try deep squats every day
