Title: Curve direction has changed
Post by: Jimmi85 on April 25, 2021, 03:04:54 AM
I've been using the PMP for about 8 weeks now along the the soma correct.  Both seem to be working, narrowing is now barely visible and I have added just under an inch to my erect length, although I am still 1.5 inches shorter than pre Peyronies.

However, my curve direction seems to have changed, going from a predominantly left curve to an upwards curve, starting at just below the glands. In terms of angles, I would say I went from 60 degrees left to about 35-40 degrees left in the first 6 weeks but over the last 2 weeks I am now 40 degrees up with very little side curve.

How is this possible? Could it be the way I'm using the PMP? I usuallly wear it with the penis pointing up so it is against my belly button.

I also use the PMP and my deformity is also towards the glans area. It is difficult to say if it is the device causing it or just the progression of the disease. You could try wearing it flipped down for a while to see it that corrects it. Any improvement is good.  I also lost about 1  3/4 inches  and the PMP has given me back about 1 inch already and I am approaching the 6 month mark of using it.

In my case, I noticed changes in my curve as well, mostly when flaccid or semi erect (never really had a curve on erection). My curve seems more dramatic when semi erect of flaccid, possibly because my penis is longer due to traction.

That is exactly the progression I had.  I had a left bend with no upward curve at first, then it went upward, replacing the left bend.

That's interesting, and in a way i'm relieved its not just me.

I am now wearing it pointing downwards, which is no where near as comfortable but in theory should counteract the new upwards curve to some degree.

In hindsight, I think I would rather a dorsal curve than a side curve so i's not all bad. Interestingly, I have just gotten into a new relationship and she doesn't seem fazed by what she's seen so far - Not gone the whole 9 yards yet but i am certainly more confident now than i have been for a long time.
