Title: Enough of impotence
Post by: Sam1992 on October 26, 2018, 07:13:38 PM
Hi guys

This will undoubtedly come across as an angry rant but I'm not sure who to reach out too. I injured my penis after forceful masterbating and carried on after injury because there were no visible injuries. My ex wanted sex and duly I obliged because I couldn't see any visible injury. In doing so I literally destroyed the tissue in my penis apparently. A urologist view is that it's healed in this messed up way due to use after injury. This was July this year. I used Viagra for a while. It worked a bit but nothing like the old me. I hate that I can't have spontaneity or much sensation whatsoever. And if I have a few beers the viagra doesn't work. I lost a fair amount of size too and don't work at all without drug assistance. My thoughts are really getting dark now. I don't know what to do, it's my fault entirely. Lost my gf too. I genuinely can't see a way of dealing with this. Sorry for ranting.

Apologies for the rant!

It did not sound like a rant.  It sounded like the very reason we built this forum and the reason we are all here.  If you fill out your signature line (like mine that appears below my post) we would know a little more about you.

You seem to mention that ED is your biggest problem.  You do not mention a bend.  You also don't mention your age.

It is not like you wilfully destroyed your dick.  You are not a urologist.  You may have made a mistake and MAYBE that mistake made the difference but even that is not certain.  I think there are solutions to your situation.  If ED is the issue there are drugs, cock rings, VED 's and there is the ultimate fix of a penile implant.  This seems to be fairly recent so there could even be lifestyle and diet changes that could help.

Right now you are feeling bad.  That is understandable but it is not the end product.  Things will improve,

Hawk

Hi Sam,

Glad you found the forum. Can I ask did the urologist you saw offer any treatment or suggest anything for you to try other than the Viagra? I am assuming this was a regular urologist, yes? You have stated that you have ED but are there any other symptoms you can share with us, and did the urologist you saw do an ultrasound that showed him damaged tissue?

Hi guys

Thanks for your replies and apologies for the late response. I've been a bit off the rails since my last post. I'm 26 so pretty young. My lifestyle has always been healthy and balanced. I'm s personal trainer so my fitness and diet are both good quality. I don't smoke/ so drugs. I drink a normal amount (a few beers during the week and a night out on the weekend). I saw a private urologist mid September as the nhs was taking too long. He said it was bruising and told me to wait 3 weeks. By this time I was already in serious depression and had convinced myself it couldn't get worse (shortening and lack of sensation) so I caved when the girl I was with wanted sex. Since then (late September) I haven't had a single morning erection. Was with a girl and nothing so much as twitched. I used viagra a few times which worked to an extent. I could go once but that was it. I went back to the urologist and he pretty much said I should've rested and that the tissue had settled 'abnormally'. He said he wasn't sure how things would pan out and just referred to viagra pills if things didn't improve. I think he was reluctant to say much more because of my age. I've not had an ultrasound and am not sure what the next stage is. I thought about trying to rest my dick completely for 6 weeks but it seems a bit like too little too late seeing as the injury occurred in mid July.. I don't even recognise my dick anymore/ let alone feel any sensation if I use viagra. To be honest I caused the injury by massively overdoing it/ stress relieving. I've had councilling to work out why it happened and why I didn't just rest, but I it's not particularly helpful in finding a way forward..

Thanks

I believe One could have peyronies w just shortening and no bend but not as common.  I'd really try to find a peyronies specialist and have an ultrasound done.  If you cannot, try to have your doc prescribe pentox, low dose daily PDE5 and add traction or VED to prevent progression and regain lost length (and eliminate pain).  You've caught this early and are in the right place fir support!  Keep us posted.

My condition is a bit similar to yours, minimal curvature with some shortening and softer erections. At first I suffered from extreme importence - could not get or maintain an erection. Sometimes with stimulation I could get an erection but would lose it in seconds. I also was upset that I could not engage in spontaneity with my sex life. Even 20mg cialis as needed was not helping.

That all changed when my uro prescribed me  a combination of pentox (3 times a day) and Cialis daily (5mg a day). I can no maintain erections for prolonged periods and can acquire erections without stimulation. They are still slightly curved and shorter than they use to be but I can spontaneously achieve and maintain them.

This combination may work for you, please see a good uro and give it a week after starting the meds.

Keep us updated,
