I understand! I saw a similar thread where someone gave an update after many many years, so tried my luck! It's always good to know the long term durability after surgery. Thanks for your message!

Welcome deriwithpatient!

So young and you have been suffering with this for quite some time now. It's sad. Did you feel any improvement of pain as the years went by? You should be in the chronic stage by now where pain normally stops. Being on restorex is good! Have you felt any changes to your penis?

The Verapamil injections never showed much success and there was some stories about their curvature getting worse because of it. But this being the gel, doesn't hurt to try.

By The way... Have you tried using ED medications?

Welcome Adiaznar to the forum. As Stabler has stated please fill out your signature line. Also download and read our survival guide -->Survival Guide . This will give you a better understanding about peyronies and it's different treatments.

Please share with us more about your condition and if any treatments or diagnosis you have had. Educate yourself first before your Dr's visit and bring along your list of questions to ask him/her. You should also take some preliminary measurements of your penis.  :)

The side effects usually dissipate after about 2 to 3 weeks as your body adjusts to the medication. A lot of men take it right before bed though. You can get some awesome erections with it though.

Happened to me as well but it went away quite quickly, maybe within a week

I avoid taking it before sleep just incase it causes priapism or anything like that in my sleep, 5mg for me personally is very powerful.

Quote from: jean claude on February 18, 2013, 02:37:39 PMHi there. I had several issues but have been resolved through surgery. I'm in my 4 month after surgery, and couldn't be happier. I feel like I have been given a new lease on life. The sex is better than ever, and my girlfriend agrees. I even feel more confident than before. My problems have started with ED, then with shrinkage, and later in discovering that i had two huge plaques. I've found a great andrologist/urologist her in Rome Italy, and had surgery. They removed the plaques, inserited semi-rigid implants, complete circumcision, and then also cut the suspensory ligament, to regain some of the shrinkage.

The first month took time to getting use to, and lately i find it more confortabile if i keep it to either side. It hides better if keeping it up towards the belly button, but is uncomfortable with the elastic wasteband in the way. I too can't bend it in the down position, and was hard to go back to the gym. I would try to hide it, but now I don't give a damn. Its 3 months since I'm back in the gym, so I think they think its normal for me.. Then again who goes to the gym to check out other peoples junk. I also find that wearing a size smaller of slip helps conseal better.

Just an off topic for Peyronies... I also have type 2 diabetes, and as suggested by my doctor, that diabetes could also be linked to Peyronies. It would be interesting to know how many members here have diabetes type 2.

Ciao
Claude

Quote from: jean claude on November 17, 2012, 05:27:02 AMLet me know. I will be posting more updates on how the surgery is going for me. As I said it's only be 4 weeks and 4 days up to today, and I love the way things are going. Oh by the way I also started to notice that with cialis it's starting to help with the girth. Oh and no the online sights are similar to the originals, but you never can know what they put in them. There are some online companies that sell the originals, but with shipping would cost the same buying them here in Italy. Let me know how it goes.

Claude

May I ask what implant you have Jean and how are you doing now?

Quote from: Shiv on February 08, 2016, 09:50:53 PMYes,,.but also more erect-state length. It takes a while to be achieved and has risks. With the malleable the flaccid-state length goes roughly to the erect-state penile length....so you always have a bigger penis.

How are you doing, Shiv? Thank you for your detailed updates!
