Title: Recent diagnosis: no curvature, pain when erect. Peyronies?
Post by: thejoker099 on January 18, 2023, 03:14:34 PM
Hey! New member here. I'm 22 from Brazil and about 2 months ago i started noticing some pain at my penis shaft. At first I thought it could be due to masturbation, as it felt like a burning pain, although it only happened when erect. I decided to wait and see if it got better, and after around a week I noticed a small bump at the left side of the shaft. I thought it could be a pimple under the skin (since it's not visible), so i waited a few weeks. Around 1 month ago (and 1 month after the first symptom - pain) I decided to go to the uro.He didn't ask a lot of questions, but made hands-on examination at said that I have Peyronie. He explained the disease and recommended Pentox (400mg 3x/day) and told me to return after 6 months. I'm taking the Pentox since then, and also started taking a generic Cialis around 2 weeks ago because of some info on this Forum (I don't have).

Thing is: I didn't notice much of a curvature (other than the natural), but maybe a slight bend - that could be just my mind creating things. Also, no ED. Just Pain when I have an erection. Is this common? Can it be another thing other than Peyronies? Is the pentox + cialis combo enough for now? Thanks in advance.

I have said for years that it seems ANYTHING that is wrong with your penis some of these doctors just call it Peyronies. I am NOT convinced that a bump like this is Peyronies. If it isn't causing any curvature then I don't know what it is. To assume and treat it like Peyronies would be the wrong thing to do.

I really agree with this.

How should i proceed? Find a new uro? Ask for a doppler/scan to check if it's Peyronie?

Is it small, like a pimple in size?

You could try a different urologist, but it might not be anything to be concerned about.

Well, I think it was more round and like a pimple in size. Now sometimes I feel like it is more like a solid, pipe-shaped bump. I'm not sure , tho: I can't feel it very well, it's more touchable when flaccid; hard to feel while having an erection.

Maybe an inflammation? My concern is that it's been almost 2 months since the start of the pain.I'm not sure if Cialis/Pentox is helping, but around  2 weeks ago I could barely manage to have intercourse, but I had it yesterday with reasonable pain. It seems to get better and worse, not linear.
