Title: Shrink when flaccid/sitting
Post by: richie2222 on January 10, 2023, 11:44:51 AM
I have a weird question.  Why does peyronies cause shrinkage/ folding inwards of the penis when sitting at my desk?  It's almost like its collapsed itself and I have to keep readjusting.  Everything I've read and watched has likened the plaque to tape on a balloon that when blown up/erect will curve, which makes sense.  I guess I don't understand why the peyronies is affecting my flaccid state when i sit down, it's like this weird uncomfortable feeling that its almost collapsing into itself.  It's hard to explain

You mean turtling? Like the same thing that happens when it gets cold?

This has personally for me gone to hell when I got Peyronies. I used to have a nice warm flaccid hang all day long only time it would turtle was when I needed go to the bathroom or when I was really cold. Now constantly throughout the day it turtles.

My suspection that is the anxiety I have due to Peyronies has caused my pelvic floor to be very tense.

Perhaps when you are sitting there is pressure on your pelvic floor. I don't know. Hard to answer why it would happen when sitting only.

I've asked various doctors the same thing and they say it's just how your body is adjusting to the plaque/scar. But I've had the same issue. Sometime it hang longer flaccid, sometimes it turtles (the sensation you seem to me talking about) and that is usually around stressful moments for me. Additional I have a lot more noticeable red veins all over. But yes my penis does all sorts of weird things flaccid that it never did before.

yeah turtling, that's a good term.  Strange that it does that when flaccid, its uncomfortable and wierd.  Thought peyronies only had to do with erections.  By the way what does pelvic floor mean?
