Title: My ESWT experience so far
Post by: jj21 on November 22, 2021, 12:56:48 AM
I'm doing 3000 shocks for peyronies then 3000 for ED (different procedure)

So far I feel like the pain has gotten a bit better and some minimal girth improvement. I've had 5 sessions of 12.

Will keep updating

Hey there! Any updates on the shockwave therapy? I'm considering it since it's less invasive than shots but have heard mixed results about the efficacy.

Hey i've got 2 sessions left. I havent found much improvement yet - i'm not sure if you have to wait longer or if the treatment is just ineffective.

Hey JJ..... i am surprised you decided to test this out. I have seen the studies and the clinics offering this, but i am yet to read about guys having meaningful improvements, if at all. At least you tried.

JJ: i remember reading you were having good success and VED, and then you had some injury with the VED that set you back. How's restorex working out for you?

Pfract: Man I had amazing results after 3 months of the VED protocol (3 cylinder). Gained some girth back, less curvature, urinary incontinence gone, ED and NTE was amazing.... Then I got too confident and started doing 30s holds ended up injured which set me back years.

I'm waiting on make up pads thn going to try restorex. I just can't seem to get a good clamp hold.

How's your situation going? I think I remmeber you saying that ESWT did have some benefit for ED in your case?

It was very reassuring to read that you have amazing results with your treatment protocol. I am trying to think why would the 30s holds injure you? Do you think it was time under vacuum? the only reports of VED injury i read on "injuries on the erect penis" was because of the usage of excess vacuum, and not time under it.

The make up pads are an amazing idea for restorex and i will get them for me too. Set the goal to retry traction in 2022 even if for 1x a week and document it here every time. Like, create a diary online here. I was afraid for the longest time like you saw here on the posts and eventually managed to try to clamp it. I almost had panick attacks at the feeling of strangling my glans like that. I got over them, but couldn't get around to wear the tape confidently and then it go the expiry date near Christmas so i never tried again.

Hopefully the make up pads are legit like guys say they are.

As for the rest of my situation.... I ended up getting a partner on tinder, march 2020, and we are still together. It wasn't easy to open up to her but she is very understanding. Truth is the relationship doesn't work no more but i am still trying nonetheless. I found out i could adapt sexually to a new reality if the partner knows about your ordeal and is careful. I am limited to some positions which has opened another can of worms on it's own. I am always comparing to my previous self and that causes stress between me and her. She says she's happy, and i tell her she doesn't know how i was before.
This, coupled with the rest has also led me to realize i need to talk to a therapist about some things. Hopefully i start working on bettering my mental outlook on my ED. The head on top of the shoulders needs treatment too. lol.

Thank you for asking. I truly hope you and i one day can reach a point were we consider ourselves healed and content with what we have so we can move on with our lives.

Pfract: Thanks for that messag man, it was very supportive. We get so mentally trapped with this disease.

I was seeing someone a year ago and we had great sex (limited o some positions). I always needed either viagra or cialis pre sex but she was understanding. Only problem is that it's very easy to reinjure yourself.

VED and traction definitely work - hope you and I keep the routine and can ut this disease behind us one day as well.

How I injured myself is I think the base of my penis when pumped was hitting the top of the chamber, because my penis is numb in the chamber I couldn't really tell (plus I was a bit reckless after seeing great results) - that coupled with 30s holds mustve injured it. When I pulled my penis out it now had a hinge to the right. I then had constant pain which wouldnt go away. I'm slowly starting again but realised it's still difficult due to the new injury. It gets a bit difficult to pump when your penis is erecting at an angle in the chamber.

Makes me feel appreciative of the past where I was in a condition where I was able to pump. Hoping to get back to there one day. Maybe restoreX will help!

Keep us updated with results man, so will I!
