Title: Pirfenidone
Post by: bman on November 14, 2022, 05:17:03 AM
Has anyone tried this drug ?

It is used for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the lungs with an unknown cause), and apparently has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antifibrotic properties.
There is at least one anecdotal evidence of it being extremely helpful for a patient with Dupuytren's.

This appears to be for Dupuytren's Contracture. It is s condition of the hand that seems similar to Peyronies. I think you are taking a risk to "try this" for Peyronies as no doctor that I am aware of prescribes this for Peyronies.

My doctor wants to carve my penis into a canoe and install an implant. I'm taking a risk no matter what medicine or procedure I try or don't try.
To lower the risk I investigate other options, cause doctors have no idea how to treat this effectively.
