Title: Second opinion
Post by: Tdm5673 on July 27, 2020, 11:59:42 AM
So I finally went to a specialist a week ago as I have a curve.  I don't have the specifics on front of me as far as degree of curvature. But picture a banana.   The doctor felt for plaque (non erect) and basically said he didn't feel any and is sure it's congenital. However I don't recall having a curved erection as a child and teen, as I would have thought hmmm, that's odd. At 46 and knowing it's been this way since my 20s as my wife can attest to it being bent. But as it is I don't recall the time when it started to bend. I honestly think it happened gradually. It's not bending any worse. I have no pain, no issues with erections. But I don't agree with the MD that it's congenital.  Should I even have it tested further. I'm not having issues now but would like it taken care of before it could be an issue.

I'd say take objective measurements and recheck every month or two.  If it continues a no changes you're good and it's cogenital or in the stable phase.  See survival guide for instructions on measurements:  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057
