Hi,
After my introduction post I am looking to start VED asap. One of the guys mentioned to start it carefully......
I am in the acute phase. I have had Peyronies Disease for 3-4months and I have pain when I get a full erection as my main symptom. I do have slight distortion to the plaque side but it's the pain reduction I am really keen on getting rid of.
How am I best initially approaching VED therapy? Am I best doing the exercises to just 50% etc whilst I am experiencing pain?
Thanks
J
Only pain while erect? LUCKY
If you are in pain all of the time I am sorry to that, I have only been researching Peyronies Disease for a week or so properly and it's such a difficult topic to deal with.
yes, only whilst erect. I sometimes feel a little tender and sore the day after sex but other than that ok.
Jtroman,
In the acute phase, I had pain during erection also. Pentox got rid of teh pain in a matter of weeks and likely helped shrink plaque deposits, which were large during the acute phase and now barely palpable. I suggest you try it; it is most effective in the initial stage.

Hi Skjaldborg
Thanks for the reply. My urologist prescribed me potaba but I want to go back and try and get Pentox. If he won't prescribe it do you ( or anyone else) know of any credible websites I can buy it from as I am not prepared to wait around arguing with so called specialists.
Thanks
JTroman,
I had to convince my first Uro to prescribe it off label. Print out these studies here and show them to your doctor: Pentox - Dr. Lue Case Study / Levine mentions his use of Pentox - Peyronies Society Forums (https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,772.0.html)
These studies show the efficacy of Pentox by Dr. Tom Lue, one of the premier Peyronie's specialists in the nation. Failing that, pentox is available on line. I have not purchased it this way so perhaps another member can chime in with a place to get it. We are generally reluctant to post links to pharmaceutical or other for-profit sites, so perhaps hat information could be PMd.
Good luck!
