Title: Observed Deformities during VED treatment
Post by: Gutted on September 02, 2016, 08:30:40 AM
I would be very interested in a sort of little 'Poll' (not a discussion thread) to get a better view of people's visible deformities during a VED treatment session. This could prove interesting data. Particularly from those who have seen improvement using VED.

Specifically, when you are inflated during each VED cycle in your session, can you still see, or are your deformities still present as you look at your inflated penis in the VED cylinder ??

For those who have got / getting improvement from VED, it would be interesting to note when you first noticed your deformities 'change' the way they looked in the cylinder under inflation ??

(if you are on the 3 cylinder protocol, clearly this is not so easy to tell when on the small cylinder (A) cycle, but more easily observed in the medium (B) and large (C) cylinder phases)

So my answer.

I am week 17 of the Forum 3 cylinder protocol using the Augusta STFsomacorrect.

I can still see the hourglass (opposing dents on each side) in all 3 cylinders when inflated. There has been no change. Left side dent possibly slightly worse.

The upward curve (notably in the large cylinder (C)) is much less noticeable under inflation in the cylinder compared to a normal erection and if anything, my dorsal curve is not so acute as it was before starting VED.

I would also add that the girth of the 'healthy' parts of my penis have definitely increased. So, from my point of view, VED as a girth enhancing concept actually works very well. It may just be that the scarred tissue (hourglass) will take longer to respond to the vacuum pressure expansion stretching.

Also on 3-cylinder Augusta Soma correct. Began using a VED in Summer 2014, 3 years after onset of peyronies in 2011. (UK National Health Service took nearly seven months for my first appointment, and my Uro's advice was not much more than confirmation that it was peyronies disease; take vitamin E and come back in six months. It was only because of this site I was able to become more proactive.) I then developed a bad case of BXO which kept me off the VED for another 9 months. Then I did myself a minor injury using a Phallosan Forte combined with VED. Following Old Man's very helpful advice by PM, I have stuck with the VED for the last 6 months, averaging 4 or 5 sessions a week. Result:

Hourglassing, which is one third of length from base of penis, is still visible in middle cylinder (B). Beyond hourglassing to glans, penis now touches the rim in places, where it didn't before, so it has filled out at least a centimetre, probably three quarters of an inch, on the top half of my shaft. In large cylinder C, no change to the dorsal curve, a little extra length, hourglassing very slight improvement on right side. I am starting to try 'hot hands' warmers with VED. ShankerBill

Hmmmmm ..... interesting !

Thread started over 2 weeks ago, 119 views and ONE answer ...... thanks again (I also PM'd) to ShankerBill for seeing the value of the data this thread could have collected ... and thanks, as ever, to 'Old Man' for the PM on the subject.

Amazing, as VED must be one of, if not the most tried / used treatments on the Forum and we've got one answer so far.

Sorry .... had to vent my disappointment. The value of the Forum comes from constructive contributions from all  ???

Gutted

If I was making a post on each time I was disappointed on the forum I may have at least an other 2,000 posts. :)
Back in the past, I was interested to know the Pentox effect on forum members, I mean to get real data from the users that have no interest on sales.
It was a work of 1 month to read all the posts regarding Pentox, to asses them and make a summary.
It may be useful for the forum if you or somebody else will take on himself the job regarding VED, I have big doubts that someone will volunteer ;)
I asked volunteers in the past for different projects, got none.
An example of people eagerness to contribute:
FORUM XIAFLEX RESULTS (Results only, not a discussion board) - Peyronies Society Forums (https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,6273.0.html)
I opened the topic at April 18, 2015
In almost one year it have 32 posts, many of them I had to rewrite myself to fit the format that one can get a conclusion.
That's all, 32 people on the forum got Xiaflex? I don't think so!!!
Had to move many posts because people don't know English and don't understand sentence like:
FORUM XIAFLEX RESULTS (Results only, not a discussion board)
This topic is not a discussion topic, each member can post one post regarding his own experience/results.

So again, no problem to vent, my own post is a big "vent" ;D

Just started a few weeks ago with a one cylinder Soma.  No noticible results yet. I can still see the deformity, I have about a 30 degree bend to the left and up.  It is not as bad while in the cylinder, but I think that is probably because it is confined in the cylinder. I do not have ED, but out of curiosity I tried one of the rings to see if there would be any change in my erection outside of the tube. The bend is still there, but maybe a few degrees less. My glans is much bigger, then with an "all natural" erection. Since I got peyronies I have probably lost 20% or so of erection "quality" particularly beyond the bend.
Hope that helps.

Gutted, chin up man ! There area lot of" lurkers" on here, all are searching for help & information . We appreciate the effort! as for myself my VED routine (3mo.) has not been long enough to really contribute any conclusions ,but I've had Peyronies for 20+yrs and didn't know it had a name until Bill Clinton was discussed somewhere and he was bent someone said. Then I looked for help, Eventually finding this site and it HAS helped me cope with this terrible curse, we all fight together!

Almost immediately I saw improvement in the dent.  My curve is to severe (90) to see a change in the cylinder until quite a reduction.  Unfortunately I stopped due to blisters on my glans-I believe from traction.  Now that it's healed I intend to begin VED again and will post any changes.

Augusta 3 cylinder

Augusta 3 cylinder. I pump until my deformity diminishes at about 60% erection. While I am pumping dent is still present at the end of the pump it is mostly gone at 60% erect. I have noticed an increase in girth and better hanging when flaccid. When I am fully erect the dent comes back. 1 month VED. 2 times a day. 15-25 min depending on how long it takes to see a visible result.

I've been using VED for a week now the sommacorrect 3 cylinder and i've noticed i am getting alot of hard flacid since, which i only had occasionally before. I may have over done it the first couple of times, but i've been gentle the last few days. Is this normal?i'm thinking the penis goes into defence mode because it's being stretched.

I can see a slight curve to the left in the cylinder but not upwards, but i've stopped fully engorging.

I also get a sort of tingling on the edge of the plaque left hand side after use.

I'm using the SomaCorrect unit, most of the time with cylinder 'B', it seems to fit perfect to my size, when pumped to 50% to 100% erection size i see none of the peyronies defect just a perfect penis. 'A' cylinder to small & 'C' cylinder just to big.
