Title: My case and possible treatment
Post by: jaxxoon66 on June 24, 2018, 07:59:17 AM
Hello guys,
Im a 24 years old guy and i suffer from PFS (Post-Finasterid-Syndrome). After one year of PFS i started to notice that my dick is shrinking very bad. I mean a thinning and loosing of length, specially in erected state. Problem is that after 2 years of PFS i have lost more of the half in girth and length in erection and its just depressing. I nnever thought about peyronies disease but yesterday i used a vacuum pump and pumped a maximum erection and i saw that i have a really bad type of hourglass erection (i have photos of this, if anyone wants to see this). I dont feel pain when i get an erection but i just feel how thin and short has become my dick.

I really think i need to do something against that bad tissue changing and i wanted to know what you would recommend. I already treied a lot of healthy lifestyle diets, supllementation inlast years and i want to go on harder stuff right now because my situation has just become worse by time. So the most promising things to regain my old penis size and to stop the thinning seem this:

-Xiaflex injections
-PRP/Priapus-Shot
-Operation/Surgery
-Adipose derived stemcells

Could you recommend me one of these treatments?

For now i would go with a Priapus Shot but just wanted to know your opinion.

Would be happy if someone could help me.

Greetings

Hello Jaxxoon66,

Welcome to the forum first of all.

Have you sought out a physician that specializes in the treatments that you have listed or one that specializes in Peyronies disease to see if you do indeed have it? We have a list in the forum that can help locate a specialist near you. If you have not been seeing a specialist already you may want to start there.

At first thanks for your answer. I must tell you that my penile scarring has already being diagnosed 1 year ago by an ultrasonic test and a mrt-scanner. I come to this community now because my urologist has spoke about "penile scarring" and not of "peyronies disease".

My urologists recommend me to do a PRP/ Priapus-Shot,  he has no experience with other treatments and he would not recommend surgery or operations ( he told me that i could lose even more size doing this).

So i wanbted just to here some opinions here....

If he can only recommend PRP, it seems he is not knowledgeable in peyronies.  PRP is not shown to be helpful for this condition. Consider pentox, low dose cialis (tadalafil) daily, and traction or VED.

I dont have a bad peyronies disease, not curvature or something. Its just a bad hourglass form and a damn shrinkage. He recommend me PRP because my main issue is to reverse the shrinkage and to get my old size and girth back.

Before finasterid i always had a good girth size now its almost the size of a pencil, its depressing.

To reverse this , he recommend me PRP/Priapus-Shot.

What do you think?

How much is he going to charge you for this?

Nothing. For the Priapus shot i will go in another clinic, he doesn't do this. He just recommended it to reverse my hourglass shrinkage.

Hello Jackson,

Welcome among us!

Regarding PRP, the opinions are mixed here, but the cons seem to be dominating.

Personnally, I just got my first PRP (+hyaluronic acid) injection done a week ago. I have quite a bad hourglass too, associated with shrinkage/thinning AND now a curvature to the left. I will keep you updated of my evolution throughout the 3-4 injections left until october. If you're interested, you'll be able to read it here : PRP and HYALURONIC ACID - Peyronies Society Forums [Page 3] (https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,5004.msg96424.html#msg96424)

You can also check the research function of the forum about PRP shots (looooooong topics though, gotta be patient and not expect a clear conclusion).

Stay strong!
