Hey guys, just a quick question: For those who have Hard flaccid and Peyronie's, does your flaccid penis have a curve when it's in a hard flaccid state? Thanks a lot, hope you all have a great day.
Not sure if Peyronies or pelvic floor issue, it's like my left side is hard-flaccid causing a curve while semi-erect and small dent while erect. No pain, no plaque found.

Juan

In my case no curve when flaccid state while was having hard flaccid.

HF is a mystery for me. Throughout the day I can have my penis in a normal flaccid state ( flexible and spongy) and in a matter of minutes it changes to hf state.

Thanks for answering Juan. In my case im yet not sure if I have Peyronies or a pelvic floor issue. No plaque has been found but its like the left side of my penis contracts and releases all the time and the curvature varies. My flaccid penis is also curved because the left side is hard while the right side is soft. Been like this 10 months.

Ben thanks for all the info man!

I'm pretty sure that is peyronies... my penis turtles to the side of indentation in flacid state like you mention

@PFtherapy123:

Do you have any new deformity in your full erection?
Any pain?
Any recollection of an injury?
When you lay down on your back for a couple minutes, is your penis flexible and soft? Now stand up for a couple minutes and feel your penis. Is it harder?

Hey Ben, my story goes like this:
I was kegeling too hard one day, no injury to the penis. Next day I saw a small curve on my erection and a small dent on the left. No pain at all, maybe loss of sensation. Curve is gone and I still having issues with the dent (although it varies from day to day not always as indented). No pain, although I have urine flow issues and hesitancy and yes, I do have hard-flaccid. When I urinate or lay down my penis is soft and when I stand up the left side contracts and it curves.

It also curves while semi-erect and straightens out as I get fully hard. But there is a dent on the left side of my erection.

I don't know if this is peyronies or due to the whole left side being far more contracted than the right side.

10 months with these isssues, went to 10 urologists in the first 4 months, no plaques found. Palpation, ultrasound & MRI. Even went to a peyronies surgeon to check me out, he told me all is clear.

For four months I have been doing pelvic floor therapy and it has helped with the curve but not with the dent. My PF therapist tells me that my pelvic floor feels tighter to the left even when doing internal trigger points meaning my whole pelvic floor is contracted and tight to the left. But could that cause a dent on my erection?

My therapist believes that muscle spasm to the pelvic floor can cause dents and curves. It's like the left side of my penis contacts, gets harder than the right side and that causes a curve until reaching full erection. Important note: The whole left side of the penis feels harder than the right side, it's not like one spot feels harder and doesn't expand properly. Hope this makes sense.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

I have already stated, indents and abnormal hardening in one side is a sign on less elastic tissue which means excess collagen has been deposited their. I would classify it under peyronies. Also ultrasound is not able to tell all plaques.

@Gaussrifle

Thanks for the reply, and is it normal for the curve, dent and semi-erect state to vary from erection to erection? For example when im laying down my erection is less indented.

Isn't a Peyronie's deformity supposed to look the same all the time?

I have the same issue as you, the deformity looks less severe or more severe depending on my position. I think it has to do with the blood flow based on position.

Going solely off your description and timeline, this sounds more like a Hard Flaccid issue than it is Peyronie's Disease. The way your erect curve spontaneously resolved and you have a minor indent on the left side does not sound like typical Peyronie's Disease. No pain, no palpable plaque, urinary issues are all signals away from Peyronies Disease.

Regardless, even if you have some mild scarring that is causing a minor deformity, I really wouldn't worry about that. It is very unlikely that you have Peyronie's Disease. It's been 10 months, and it seems you've only improved over that period so I wouldn't be worried about worsening.

What is your main concern? Is it the dent on the left side? Do you have erection issues? Are you able to have sex normally?

With Hard Flaccid being not so understood medically, the only treatments we have are the pelvic floor exercises and daily tadalafil. Since the exercises are working for you, I'd continue that and just track to see if anything changes by measuring length and girth and taking pictures (left, right, top) on a weekly basis.

@Benraycamp
I am 28. I will add it. Thank you so much for looking further into my case. I will see my urologist next week again just to do a 10-month-follow-up Ultrasound to see if I'm still clear on plaques and I'll try to really get into shape to make sure it's not a PSOAS, abductor issue.

Will keep you updated, thanks again.
