I am probably one of  the most stupid and also unluckiest man on the earth because i walk around for 3 years with an untreated penis fracture now. I didnt visit the doc immidetly because there was no swelling, blue color or immense pain. But till now i have some pain and some degree of curvature. What do you think are the options for me at this point? I am clearly over the point of fast treatment after injury, do you think any doctor can do something for me. Is getting an penile implant an option, and can it cure or lessen the pain?
26y, injured at 21 :/

Reinjured late 2019 when having sex with weak errection.
No curvature, but rotation of the base to the left about 30degrees
Main problem: chronic flaccid pain.

An implant is always an option but have you ever seen a urologist for the injury in all this time? I would think that should be your first step if not.

Yes i did 4 times and each time was a mess.
One just told me to try Vitamin e and Potaba and wait.
Next one i visited  a year later, he can see nothing in the ultrasound so he will do nothing.
One didn't even want to examine the penis and said if sex still works i should do nothing.
Number 4 said surgery can be done but he doesnt recommend because of my young age. I didn't understand thisi answer. As a younger person with hopefully still a few decades of sex life, shouldn't i do the most to grant it?? If i was 80 i'd probably accept there is not much sex anymore.

I just wish to see one urologist finally that for once takes me seriously and listens and then also recommends some next step or is willing to do some surgery. I mean wtf if the patient (me) is ready for it then why not do it? Chronic pain is no fun and i'm not ready to accept this to have till i die.

i've had the "you're too young for surgery" talk too.
I think it's because no matter what kind, surgery will have its collateral damage and risks of compromising erectile function. So if that were to happen to a young man, it would be a complete failure, while for and old man there could still be an implant as an option.
Btw have you talked about your pain with urologist? Maybe you can manage that.
I trust doctors when they try to avoid surgery, because indeed i have heard of cases where it did more harm than good
20 yo, Peyronies Disease 2020(55 degrees down) + congenital curve
loss of length, stable erection, sensation. hourglassing
antioxidants, hyaluronic acid injected & oral, maybe Yachia in future
Recently started VED 2x a week
Still wants sex and a relationship

@orriw: I have news for you man. Your fracture has not been left untreated for 3 years. After you fracture your penis there are two outcomes. Either you are diagnosed and surgically operated or they tell you to wait for 6/8 weeks and don't surgically corrected because it is considered minor. (or you had a bad doctor)

Even if you don't treat it, the wound heals after 6 weeks or so depending on the severity and if it doesn't progress into peyronies then you are left in that condition. But it's not that you "left it untreated for 3 years". There is nothing else that you can do in terms of treatment for the fracture itself. After that was done and managed, you address it with medication or erection devices.

You say you have pain. comes and goes? Also... curvature... how much? does it interfere with sexual activity? what have you done to diagnose your current ed situation?

orriw

@pfract

I visited the doc too late and he did nothing other than describing me Ibuprofen and some Vitamin E (that idiot).
I accepted my fate for the last 2 years.
But as the curvature has become worse and i am annoyed by the flaccid pain i want to change something  now.
I will ask what they can do about the pain and curvature... will maybe have to visit many doctors and urge them to so something. If implant can help maybe i  will do that. My #1 concern is the annoying pain, curvature a close #2.
May post updates soon from my doc visits. One is tomorrow

I will urge them to still so smth... why is it not worth to save a younger persons sexuality? i have to live for 50 + years with this condition and not 20 years.
Actually i am willing to take the risk of more harm because i am at the edge of losing temper.... no man should feel daily penis pain, worst area ever. I have flaccid pain only, what is imo much worse than errection pain. See i can have sex / masturbate with no pain but 15 min later pay with pain for most of the rest day. This is crazy... the doctors have to do somethinf about it. At least prescribe me some nice pain killers lol and see how that goes.

Visiting many doctors won't be off help. Most likely a financial burden. Stop and reflect. I've been there. For pain, you can manage it with pain killers. For the curvature you have traction and VED. Take a proactive approach. If the curvature keeps worsening there are solutions out there. Stay calm. How are your erections? How bad was your fracture? How did it happen exactly? Please describe.

orriw

@pfract

I will try some pain killers that they describe me but the thing is even if they help i can't take that forever, my stomach / gut can not take that.
I Tried VERY gentle traction lately and paid with the same pain i feel after careless sex / masturbation. If's like the penis doesnt want to get touched, doesnt want to become errect and just be left alone. Also, am starting to believe i have no Peyronies Disease.... i have no hard plaques, dents whatsoever. Just pain (which should have resolved by now if it is Peyronies Disease) and curvature. Curvature does not necessarily mean its from Peyronies Disease.
How it happened: i was masturbating, noticed my congenitial curvature looked a bit more that day ( probably not 100 % errect) and tried to correct it manual..... while having an errection (ik, incredible stupid). I heard a popping sound and thought lol that was too much and stopped. There was slight pain after and  for all the next days too and i thougt it will heal. After 1 month it was still there and i did a little research, another  month  later finally visited a doc. Well and thats how it is by now the pain never left after 3 years now, curvature has gotten worse over time and just think to myself WTF. If reasion of life is to reproduce, then why can a man hurt his most important part so bad so easy (i wasnt incredible forceful)  and this organ doesnt repair perfectly again.
I am of course most frustrated during episodes of pain. But even while no pain i think about it almost every hour, because i am ashamed of what a women will think (exspecially if curvature will increase). So now i am thinking to myself "why do you prefer to have all this negative thought, this distracting disease (from other important things like university, friends,....) and not just try and visit a doc that is ready to do something even if it means blood. You understand ? Thats my last hope. I cant live with this pain and curvature. Its been 3 years of a hellride, i cant do it another 30 or more years no way. I know there are risks surgery will not do good but fck it then hav another or implantat. I'd probably even prefer having no penis at all and be a sexless creature /alien than having daily penis pain for the rest of my days.  So, any recommendations for good surgeons in Germany or EU are welcome.

Another thing to add (thanks for taking your time by the way) is doc visits suck..... they may have good ratings but when its comes to penis  fracture / Peyronies Disease most docs are lost.
So i am sitting in the waiting room there for an hour with men double my age, that probably think what is this boy doing here?? (this boy is most likely having way bigger problems than you) but i try to ignore it and focus on why i  am here. Then i finally get called in by the doctor, start talking about all the pain, curvature... hmmhmm few reactions, last even said (i forgot the context) ".... that for people with REAL Peyronies Disease) ( i thinbk i asked for surgery). so she didnt even believe i have Peyronies Disease (didnt even look at my penis) because she thought that guy is young he can't have serious injury , doenst treat me with respect. Is being young a shield to disease? If a kid loses a leg by injury that leg will not grow back even if its a kid!!!!
So there's that. Before i visit another 1000 doctors i am really thankful for any good recommendation for a doctor that knows a little more about Peyronies Disease / Penis Fraction and is not too shy to help

I had the exact same treatment with my first urologist... he was an old guy who thought since I was young it was all in my head and I should get on viagra to overcome nervousness... lol. I remember the same feeling sitting amongst 70 plus year dudes thinking wtf .....  I am glad I found a peyronies specialist at Mayo Clinic Rochester.... who did an ultrasound , physical inspection and treatment.

Hello pfract can you help me with another advice? What pain killers worked for you? I have aspirin ibuprofen but it doesnt help with my pain. Also dont you think some surgeon could just remove some damaged tissue?
