Interesting. I'm about to move to Saudi Arabia for work as an American expat. I have a large supply of River's Tadalafil (Cialis) but I can't risk trying to take it into Saudi Arabia as I don't have a prescription for it. So my only option is to try to get a prescription for Cialis once I'm living there. That's frustrating, as my stockpile would last about a year but will now sit in a drawer Stateside for who knows how long ... years. It's a shame.
