Title: Tumeric for anti inflammatory purposes?
Post by: Johniscurved on January 26, 2016, 09:16:01 PM
Hi guys,

I don't personally have Peyronies, I have congenital curvature but have recently started taking 'Tumeric' as a supplement in a pill form for some of my sport related muscle/joint injuries. It has a large range of health benefits but above all it is very effective in terms of reducing inflammation and has long been a staple of traditional Chinese and Indian medicine I believe. I'm not sure whether it would help in effectively combatting Peyronies but for me, I find it works rather well for my purposes and it is quite cheap too.

Just some food for thought and something to consider, a quick search has revealed this treatment hasn't come up on the forum yet.

Cheers!

I appreciate also some of the Chinese and Indian herbal medications. Using one of them I finally, at the age of 62, stopped my migraines.
Regarding Tumeric, we have 17 posts on the forum including yours, so maybe if someone is interested may want to read them.

That's good to hear James, they're no substitute for modern medicine obviously but it's surprising some of the results that are yielded by using simple remedies like such. I think the problem might have been in my spelling, it's 'Turmeric' not Tumeric which is why I might have missed that in the search. Even so, hopefully it's of some use to someone!
