There is a figure usually presented of 5-10% of "spontaneous recovery". But this figure is based entirely on surveys given to men affected by the disease. It depends what you mean by "recovery". I would understand complete reversal of symptoms to a state before Peyronies Disease. But many doctors and patients have a different meaning I suspect. So what it actually represents is their subjective "feeling" of recovery. There have been no objective tests using continual evaluations with ultrasounds (except the placebo groups of various studies.. but there I never read complete recovery). Conclusion: There is no objective reason whatsoever to believe that established Peyronies Disease will go away on it's own.

But...

There are many documented cases of Peyronies Disease suffers recoverying by way of all the traditional treatments like those you will read about on this very forum. There are just as many, or more, that do not recover even though they are using the very same same treatments and therapies.

Doesn't that ever make you wonder if those that did have success may have recovered with or without things like Pentox, traction and/or the VED? I know I do.
