Hello Everyone,
I developed a bend in my erection a couple of months ago and will see a urologist fo the first time on Tuesday, May 14th. I have no pain during erection, or erectile dysfunction, and am grateful for that.
The reason for my post is that since my penis bend occurred, I have been getting many more erections while sleeping. I have not had this happen so much since I was much younger. I am 64. I am not complaining mind you, but am baffled by this, and wonder if anyone else experienced this. Thank you.
KMB,
Nocturnal erections are the body's way of ensuring that the penis stays healthy with lots of blood flow. It is possible that your body is "aware" of a problem in your penis and is compensating with more nocturnal erections in an attempt to solve it. On the other hand, it's also possible that you are just more aware of your penis since noticing the bend and that you actually are just having the same amount of erections as before.
I actually had fewer night time erections when I first got Peyronie's (probably due to the pain) but they improved and have been fine since getting treatment (pentoxyfylline).
Best of luck,

Hope you will go to your appointment prepared. Many of the doctors are far from being updated regarding therapy possibilities.

You get NTE every night. Every time you hit REM you get one. You just normally doze right through it.
You only notice because you are being woken while in REM sleep hence still have the erection.
Kmb,
Iam around the same age and have similar symptoms and have recently ( last few months) noticed lots more early morning erecttions . I don't know if it's peyronies or a slight uncomfortotableness from the bend.
However I am enjoying the sensations of regular Hard-on.
I have been taking the opertunity to masturbate gently with lube and achieve ejaculatations . Both etections and emulating I think I consider good for both the repair of damage and for a positive enjoyment of life as we all do our best to remain free of passing into any moments of depression. My
