Hi,

Can red, dilated blood vessels / capillaries in the groin area accompany Peyronies Disease?

Thanks.

I'm not sure if you're referring to exactly the same thing as me (but I suspect so), but I have these on the shaft of my penis, mostly towards the base. They came about as a result of trauma caused by the VED (which I should add has to do with my body's underlying conditions and is not an indictment of VED therapy). I had connected the word 'thrombosed' with them but I'm not sure if that's correct. They bother me and seem like they can't be good but a lot of what I've read says they're harmless. I'd still like them to clear up/heal, but Pentox hasn't changed much and I'm not sure what else to try, though I admit I haven't put much thought into it.

Generally speaking, injury/damage to superficial areas of the penis shouldn't cause Peyronie's. You have to injure the tunica, the tissue covering the erectile chambers, to create the inflammation and scarring that causes Peyronie's. This is why you hear about a lot of men getting injured by bending the penis, which can cause micro tears and small amounts of bleeding inside the penis.

My best guess is that the condition you mentioned and Peyronie's are unrelated.

I will second Skjaldborg regarding your condition.

How long time you are taking Pentox? Sometimes it takes time for Pentox to show results. Many of my red & blue capillaries especially on my face and feet disappeared after a period on Pentox. They are coming back if I am stopping for two or three weeks.
