Title: Extreme pain NTE
Post by: Days_For_Hope on January 23, 2022, 06:30:54 PM
Am on Valium. It didn't work last night and had a raging boner. Incredible pain and today as well. I have no clue what to do. Can't even find a uro in my area, have only seen PAs at UNC and Duke. Two urologists in Mexico City tell me to rest is completely, no erections. Anyone been in this boat?

Hello Days_For_Hope,
I've had a read through your past posts and I have to say that I don't think your issues come from Peyronie's.  As you said yourself, you injured your penis jelqing.  I understand that you would want to do anything that will help, and I sympathize fully, but I just don't think jelqing injuries are something for this forum.  The supplements and physical techniques the men on this forum are using are all designed to combat Peyronie's and they are not appropriate for injuries like yours.
I'm not going to kick you off the forum but may I suggest that perhaps what you really need to do is let your penis heal and stop jelqing?

It's true that I don't have confirmed peyronies. It's true that I created this injury. I'm just looking for people who have had a similar situation to me to see what worked for them to heal. I am certainly no longer "jelquing"  I just need guidance and support, just like others on this forum.

Thank you for reading.

Do you have a curve/dent/hourglass shape, or is just pain?

Hi bud luck

Pain and semi erect curve, in brief

In more detail: I have a semi erect curve...which disappears with full erection. I have flacid pain, erect pain, and a the penis feels tight/painful with activity, sitting, standing, stretching. Feeling of traction of both sides (new). Have felt feelings of "tearing" a doc in Mexico City believes it's a scarring process, there was a superficial tear or delaminating that doesn't show up on US/MRI until if a plaque forms

An andrologist from Guadalajara today said based on my injury story and symptoms he thinks it's beginning of peyronies, would want to give me a Doppler in his office if I was there. He spoke of injectable verapamil, and possibly starting colchicine right away.

That's where I am right now. Doing virtually nothing, mostly laying down and walking as tolerated.

PS I was going to pelvic floor physical therapy and EVERYTHING they told me to do hurt me. The worse was the "myofacial release" of the penis. The scarring got worse after that, so did the curve, the pain, new area of injury. It was pretty bad.

Myofascial release of the penis?  Can I ask, what does that involve?  Is that specific to you because of your injuries?

She basically made me press and pull down with a finger tip, like a light massage, of the injured area of my penis. Since then, I've been in hell. The people at the pelvic floor physical therapy clinic had no idea what they were doing with me. I've also suffered another injury to due an attempt at light manual traction. I simply needed to completely rest the penis and I failed at that. Still taking Valium at night to prevent painful night time erections. I have felt tissue in my penis pull "rip" painfully with actions such as bending over to pick up a box. Well, now I'm in pain day and night, can't walk without pain and I've ended up wearing a light compression bandage on the penis, it decreases movement and thus my pain, for now. I'm going for an erect Doppler ultrasound tomorrow.

I don't think I can do the ultrasound scheduled for this week but an MRI showed narrowing of the chambers of the penis. Still have pain will trying to climb stairs or jog. Feels like a tight feeling in the penis. Has gotten somewhat better but still taking Valium at night to prevent NTE. Can masturbate buy try not to, looking for support groups to get me through this. Pain and limited movement still
