Title: Can peyronies strike twice?
Post by: Ajvine on November 17, 2021, 01:37:27 PM
I had a 35~ degree curvature and while I might have gotten a bit more of a curve, my biggest fear now is that I haven't been able to get an erection for about a week. I get some erections but now they are not as full as a week before.

I did feel some pain similar to when I think all of this started almost 2 years ago but it might have been only once or twice. I can get it erect if I try but it's not consistent and not a full erection.

I was able to get it once in the past week but that's about it.

Could I have gotten it twice? Or are the weak erections something psychological and will sort it out by itself?

From what i gathered being in this forum,  Yes you can get it twice, and a flare-up can happen and put you back in active phase

I think you can check the erection problem with a color doppler with an induced erection

Does being put back in the active phase give you an opportunity to get rid of the initial curve (plaque) in some way?

I actually compared some pictures from before and I might be crazy but it seems a bit better.

Yes, unfortunately we can go back in to the active phase. I would treat it as any other body part whilst it is inflamed and give it a rest, if possible.

What about the opportunity of getting rid of the curve if it went back to the active phase?

Most importantly, I was able to get a bit of morning wood, something I hadn't gotten in a while this night. Not a full erection but it was obviously on it own, no stimulation. Gives me a bit of hope.

Is it possible for someone to not be able to get full erections for a short period of time but then get them back? It's been about a week and a half for me
