Hello,
I'm currently taking an antidepressant(SSRIs) and tranquilizer(Alprazolam but is also named Xanax) for reasons not related to my Peyronies. But I googled about possible side effects if I take L-Arginine or Acetyl L-Carnitine and it seems it is discouraged.
Anyone has any experience taking both? What can I do if I cannot take Acetyl L-Carnitine or L-Arginine?
Thanks
Have you thought about the possibility of taking low dose Cialis 2.5mg daily? It could help you out a lot.

Should I take Cialis even if I don't have ED? Thanks!
The last urologist I've visited (a true Peyronie's specialist), told me to take it daily. I also don't have erectile dysfunction.
Apparently, it helps the blood flow on the penis, which is good for healing. Look up for topics on the subject. There are plenty of them here.

spainronies: Based on everything i read and on case reports from members here on the board, i would advise against taking ED supplements if you are on anti-depressants or at least be very cautious with them. You can have a priapism as a side effect, especially if you have certain health conditions. Try to check with your doctor if he thinks that it is a good idea. I would also try to wean of the SSRi's and what not but that is another thing all together and i don't know if you can do such a thing.
I haven't read anything like you said. On the contrary, they usually prescribe It because antidepressants might cause ED. Can you share a link to someone who had a negative experiencie? Thanks

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=ssri+priapism ------------- And here is the link for all the medical papers talking about SSRi's and priapism and their relationship or not. A good read in your case, IMHO.

Thanks for the links. It seems that the conclusion of those articles is that it is very rare that it happens. I will stick with Cialis for 3 months or so anyway.
Just something to be cautious of - a lot of SSRIs can cause erectile dysfunction and loss of NTE which may effect your peyronies... Might not effect you but it has happened for me.
