Title: RestoreX question
Post by: AnaDuck on May 27, 2021, 05:14:07 PM
Most of my time using the RestoreX device, I would keep the springs unengaged until I extended out. Now I just started extending while they're engaged. For some reason I feel a much stronger stretch when extending while the springs are already engaged.  Almost to the point where it's a bit frightening, since I do not see the clamp housing retract hardly any using this method. What's the reasoning for this, and what method do you use and why?

Honestly.... this is how I have always done it... I extend with the springs engaged for the most part.  I think you are okay either way, but during a session I will keep clicking up a little further and further.

Well, if I keep the springs engaged and extend, they don't seem to really slide back, or very little. But when I keep the springs contracted until after I extend, even at the same notch, they are retracted much more. Didn't understand this, or if the springs aren't working properly. Don't want to hurt myself tbh.

Thinking about getting this.  Is it ok in acute phase? It seems to be mixed
