Title: 8 Months in Picture. Thoughts? (explicit photo)
Post by: Xavier99 on December 03, 2020, 05:32:50 PM
Hey Guys,
It's been 8 crappy months but the pain has mostly subsided.. I have also not seen any changes for several months either so I imagine I am stable.I've been on pentoxofylinne and viagra from onset up until this month. Honestly I just couldn't take being so horny all day anymore! Here is what I look like now. My Uro guessed 10 degrees at my Doppler w/ narrowing? I used to be almost the same thickness all the way up from the base. Pre Peyronie's I was just under 7in. I imagine I've lost at least a cm or 2+ girth. What should I do next? All the Urologists I saw don't want to operate or inject me because I'm functional. I tried Andro Peyronie traction while acute but it hurt way too much and seemed to bring on the narrowing. Should I try another device? if so will it even work being in the stable phase? I know I'll never get my old penis back but I still yearn for some visual improvement. Uros want me to just leave it be, my wife wants me to leave it be.. She thinks I'll just make things worse and I should accept what I have. Thoughts?

So overall it looks very good with you.
The front part is slightly curved, but overall it looks like an absolutely functional penis.
The curvature so far forward is not ideal for traction, but I would still try it (traction by hand)
Be happy that it didn't hit you harder.

I have a dorsal curve (upwards) - that makes penetration much more difficult.

Optics is not so important - it is important that you can use your penis well  ;)

Thanks for the feedback Derek. Maybe I will try by hand a little in the coming months.

My pain stopped after a couple of months and my bend didn't start until about 6 months after my accident.  And it took several months, probably 9+ before my bend stopped. It is a slow process. Hopefully your bend has stopped. Because you look very usable.

Yeah I think the bend has subsided. It was pretty slow and steady for 5 full months..first curve then narrowing. This month marks 3 full months of stability. I'm just curious if folks on this forum think I should try further interventions or just let it be.

Where is the narrowing?

@Baduck its below the glands about about a half inch.. Almost a ring around the penis and from there up it's slightly more narrow. I was pretty much the same thickness from base to below glands before.. If this just a mild case I should leave alone and let be?

In the picture I barely see any narrowing

Well it's been about 1.5yrs w/ Peyronie's. Few updates..

Frustrations: I still haven't fully accepted the new Picasso-Esque look of my Johnson. There was a time when I would use my little friend everyday.. now about twice a week is the limit without experiencing a bit of discomfort. Another frustration is my wife doesn't want me to try traction again or any other treatments that could risk things getting worse. I think she's probably right but it's hard to not think "maybe I could fix this thing".

Positives: Nothing has worsened and thanks  to modern medicine a quarter dose of viagra cuts down on the leg work of getting going.. I feel like the less tug to get going the better! Especially when that's what got me in this mess. I feel that once I entered fairly deep into the stable phase my erections got better.. I was more relaxed and actually noticed less narrowing because I was just getting a better wood.Another positive is my wife is pregnant again! So maybe some hope for others out there.

Advice: Pentoxofylinne prob didn't do much but it was worth a try when it was active. Small dose of Zoloft and daily meditation on insight timer saved my mind during the active stage.. also a good understanding partner. Traction wasn't for me as i was a sufferer of 24/7 flaccid and hard pain for several months.. but if you can do it go for it

Thanks for the update, Xavi.   I'm glad you're at a stable place. I agree that accepting the Picasso look is tough for me too. Sometimes I don't even recognize the thing in my hand.  The lack of length, uneven thickness, bend and twist look like someone else's dick, not like what I've been used to playing with for awhile now.
You have a great attitude and have made good progress.  I go back and forth between thinking like your wife and not wanting to risk things getting worse and then my determination that there HAS TO BE one more thing I can or should try to get my old unit back.... that's where I get sucked in to the next device, the next pill, the next whatever.
Keep up the good work and let us know how things are (literally) hanging.

Have you noticed if at all that it takes longer for you to ejaculate  when you are on Zoloft?

I had no sexual side effects to Zoloft . Really helped me relax and have better sex
