Title: Newly diagnosed 25 years old
Post by: camtheman on October 06, 2020, 01:42:03 AM
hello everyone, I've been perusing for a while now and thought I would introduce myself.

Age?
25

What did your medical doctor conclude?
acute stage of peyronies

How long have you had symptoms?
~ 1 month
CPPS ~ 6 months

What are your symptoms?
hard flaccid, almost constant pain during flaccid and recently painful erections (no curve yet but I assume that its coming for me soon)

What treatments have you tried and what were the results?
ALCAR and COq10, heat, and been signficantly cutting carbs from my diet essentialy doing keto but i still eat some fruit so lol  i've been also doing manual traction by hand per NeoV but idk if i should continue as my pain is getting worse... about to try and see if i can get cialis and pentox soon

Do you have insurance or means to get medical treatment?
Yea still on my dads insurance

where are you in dealing with the psychological aspects of Peyronies Disease?
not great, tbh I'm also unfortunate enough to have RA and pelvic pain/low back pain... i feel like i'm constantly in pain and that my body is breaking down and i'm so young... I'm in graduate school as well so to have my penis hurt on top of everything is really a bummer

Are you in a relationship?
Na

I have a few questions:

A) looking through posts here, i see a lot of mixed results on starting traction in the acute phase. Some say it will aggravate the condition even more some say it will help. In my case, since i'm in pain I'm thinking I should avoid it for the time being. or should i start doing it?

B) erections are okay but masturbation is not?

C) I want to go out and have sex but i'm worried it will only make my condition worse, should I just hold off for right now?

Thanks this crap really sucks hoping for the best

Hey,

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Good news is that it's early so you have great chances are significantly mitigating the effects of the disease through proper treatment.

I had a pretty similar timeline as yours so i think i can opine here.

First the hard flaccid is "normal", and it means that you injured your penis which is now trying to repair itself. Indeed after this phase the curve is coming. I'm glad that you're starting treatment for this now.

For manual traction, you have to be extremely careful because it's hard to control time and tension.

Think about it this way. You have injured your penis and have essentially "cuts" inside of it. Your body is reacting by inflaming your penis, you may even experience an increase in girth. This is temporary.

It is important to pass this phase by relaxing as much as possible, taking anti-inflammation medication (my doctors gave me 15 days of meloxicam), and not stressing the penis via sex or masturbation.

During this it's important to keep your penis stretched and engorged as much as possible. Your penis will start to lay down scar tissue in the cuts and inflammation also causes scar tissues to be laid down and attached to the tunica.

For traction, get a penimaster pro and a somaerrect (or other VED) ASAP.

Think about it like any cut, first you want to heal in a stretched state *without causing more tears.* This is tricky, but i would just wear the PMP for as long as possible, including the strap at minimum tension. Just as much as you flaccid penis will naturally stretch.

It is important to use VED 2x a day to maintain girth and make sure the scars don't heal in a contracted state.

This is going to take long periods of your day, be prepared for that.

Back to traction, once the scar has formed then you can go up in tension. I would even recommend getting a RestoreX at some point in the near future. RestoreX for higher tension and the PMP for healing and longer/lower tension.

In order to help maintain your penis in an engorged state you need to start taking 5mg cialis (you can start 2.5mg to see how you react) and taking L-Citruline 3k MG. L-Citruline in the morning and cialis before bed.

You also need to start taking Pentoxyfilline, vitamin e, and CoQ10. I usually take these about 40min before my vacuum sessions so that they get around in my penis. Pentox only lives in your blood for a couple of hours so you have to take advantage of it.

I would start getting well versed in penis enlargement techniques, do not do them now but understand that your therapy will largely follow the same patterns. Using traction and VED etc has a steep learning curve so it's best to start ASAP.

I would not worry about the pelvic pain, just don't strain your pelvic muscles and don't do too high tension traction right now.

Good luck and let us know if you have any questions.

Could hard flaccid be a symptom from CPPS?
