Title: Are verapamil injections too extreme for mild Peyronies Disease
Post by: MacMathuna on May 29, 2020, 02:09:49 PM
I have probably only a 15 or 20 degree curve, some distal hourglassing, and a an indentation.
I also have a lot of loss of sexual sensitivity in my whole penis.

I can still have intercourse, but I am way less able to enjoy my sex life over all.

Could veramamil injections be an option for me? Could they make things worse?

Results are all over the place but in general verapamil hasn't been shown to be very effective.

You could try iontopherensis it's less invasive and it has been shown to be equally effective

good point . just a few £ to do at home, there used to be a paper on the web by an Indian doc describing doing this with hydrocortisone that is no longer available.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iontophoresis

There is studies showing that iontophoresis with verapamil is superior or at least not less so to injecting it and it's very much non invasive. Also it's theorized that the current itself might have some effect on wound healing
