Title: My 3 month progression (detailed photos included)
Post by: strat on March 07, 2020, 09:43:57 AM
I first started symptoms in mid-Nov 2019 and wanted to provide a 3 month update. I have included detailed captions in the photos, but summary is that I am on the PAV cocktail, started Restorex in December, and use the typical supplements.

My curve is upward. It's hard to see as I have a high erection angle and it is gradual enough that it almost looks like a congenital curve (although I used to be very straight). If you look at the top side, it seems straight, but if you look at the bottom it looks like a significant congenital curve. Because of this, I'm not sure if I'll be able to have sex. I'm cautiously optimistic, and started dating again, but haven't found anyone I like enough or am comfortable enough to try.

So far my curve hasn't gotten significantly worse (~25-30 degrees), but girth is slightly down and hourglassing / indentation is worsening. Psychologically I've been through the ringer, but am staying busy these days and have reached a point of "it is what it is" If I wasn't on a 4 month sex drought, with that uncertainty looming over me, I would feel almost normal.

Happy to answer and Qs and hope this helps others

Everything looks fine to me? Don't get why sex would be difficult?

I think sex will go well, but certainly think your treatments are worthwhile preventing worsening of plaque and indentations.

Hey strat! Thank you so much for sharing such informative pictures with us. It gives us a totally different perspective from your situation. Especially with the text on the pictures. You are also using restorex. Do you feel it is helping you out? Do you have any pain while bending the penis like that? I'm curious. Also, how does your glans feel? Is it smashed too much from the device? Do you think you could snap another pic of the glans clamped out?

I have a restorex too, but I am afraid to use it due to my girth. I don't know if I should just clamp it out regardless or if it's too much for the clamp and I will injure myself in someway.

As for your curve and interfering with sex... shouldn't hinder you in any way? Your penis is very straight. Are you experiencing ED in the process too? Have you got a prescription for daily cialis?
Very interested in hearing back from you.

I'm optimistic that missionary and spooning will be OK, but I fear my doggy days are over as I could barely do that one before due to my high erection angle. Reverse cowgirl is out of the question.

pfract — Not sure how much Restorex is helping. The very slight length increase seems like it could only be attributed to Restorex. But other than that, I haven't seen any improvement in curve and indentation / hourglassing is worsening. Maybe it's worsening slower than it would without it but no way to know for sure. For now I'm planning on sticking with it.

As for pain, YES I have to clamp down super tight just under the glans to avoid pinching (more pain) or slipping out. I worry this may actually be causing trauma to the plaque area but it's the only way I can make restorex work. Counterbending hurts when you first start, and still a bit when I stretch it, but it gets better. Overall I would say yes, Restorex hurts (for me) but it's manageable and so I'm happy to push through it. I don't feel like girth should be a big issue since the clamp is adjustable but only you would know.

No ED luckily! I take low dose Viagara, but usually only the night dose of the two because I found I was getting more unwanted erections at work if I took in the AM which is uncomfortable if I can't adjust myself.

Hey Strap. I'd say that only if you have pain with that particular erection angle. My penis used to be up like that, almost against my belly and it wouldn't be a problem for me. That's what i presume you are saying.

Consistency is key here and i am glad that you are being able to use it steadily. Maybe tacking measurements every Month to make sure, length wise?

Wanted to provide an update — had sex for the first time post-diagnosis last weekend. I was really nervous about how it would go. I'm delighted to say it went well! Missionary resulted in no pain or discomfort. Girl on top was a little uncomfortable unless she leaned forward. Doggy was a little uncomfortable too but better than I thought it would be, prone bone was all good. I was a little sore afterwards which made me nervous because I first experienced Peyronie's symptoms after a long period of soreness. I immediately hit the Restorex and made sure I got my sessions in this week, and no more soreness and everything seems OK.

Such a massive relief. I'm still seeing slow / sporadic progression of indentations and hourglassing (unfortunately think I'm losing some girth toward the bottom) but I think my curve is pretty stable.

Hope this helps others who may be recently diagnosed with a mild case not knowing how it would affect them. It's not game over. I have put a lot of work in between supplements, traction, and heat but I think all the hard work paid off.

Congratulations on the update Strat... you are also still using restorex. Very nice!
