This is an inflammation marker in the body. I'm curious to see what kind of c resctive protoeon people with Peyronies have especially is in the active phase. There is one member with reactive arthritis who said the doctor said his c reactive protein is low. Well, what's "low" ? Low should be barely any signs of it and it barely shows up on the test. What they consider low is not low because America is extremely unhealthy.
yes i have tests of crp for the last five years, always in 0.x range, low grade inflammation is 1-3 range
but maybe there are better biomarkers

Whyistheishappening: that's pretty damn low. How's your pain? I'd say we all need to get our c reactive protein to the zero levels. Would you say having low c reactive protein makes a difference in Peyronies ?
in literature crp does not correlate with Peyronies Disease.IL-6 does in active but not in acute phase ,also low tnf correlates with Peyronies Disease , low vitamin D,some TIMP's,MMP's,and some minerals i can post the publication list tomorrow. My pain now is mild or absent.
also it is important the way you get vitamin D, i will also post publications about that tomorrow, supplamentation can be harmful for some people.
Thanks. I have no idea what IL6 is, or tnf.did you mean to say il6 does in chronic but not acute? I'm on keto and OMAD and my pain has lowered but still can't masturbate at high frequency. And by crop not correlating to Peyronies in literature does that mean they've done a study on those with high CRP vs low CRP and no differences were found? Or is it just now studies have been done. Logically I think having low CRP would at least help with inflammation a tad
IL-6 is a marker of active phase, fibrosis maybe.PTX3 is a marker of acute Peyronies Disease.CRP levels of Peyronies Disease patients and healthy controls was indifferent.
