Hi,
I don't know if it's the same, but after I use RestoreX (next day in general), I FEEL my plaque. It's not pain, but I just feel it. When I'm walking, working, etc.

Like Pfract says : it's maybe a good thing. I would believe it is.

I never feel pain during the RestoreX use. Yes of course: it's not comfortable. I would rather not do it, lol. But it's not pain.

Hope this helps.

Yes, this is correct.

£1,900 per injection. 3 recommended with a £250 consultation.

I get exactly this. I would like to see it as a good thing.

I'm very aggressive with my stretching and apply maximum tension. This has resulted in a superficial scar on the glans and foreskin.

I've just bought replacement parts to my RestoreX after it breaking at the end of last year. I'll be updating my journal once I get back to a regular routine.

Because I haven't used the RestoreX in such a long time, I'm finding it a little painful as my tissue hasn't been stretched in this way for a while.

As offputting as the pain may be... not having it during the time you are using traction i would feel like it's a good thing. As long as you are not exceding the recommended treatment times all "should" be good! What if you try taking some advil after to ease the discomfort and see if it goes away? Probably restorex doing what it's supposed to do!

Quote from: shanadjiq on February 05, 2026, 02:49:31 PMI decided to order Restorex, my question is can I use it successfully while I'm undergoing Shockwave therapy. I saw that they also sell some pumps supposedly specifically designed for Peyronie's. Has anyone used one and how long does it take to see results?

Yes you can. No problem in using both at the same time. Also, please open up a discussion thread on this conversation if you wish to extend it, given the forum rules.

Quote from: pierredumont on February 06, 2026, 09:54:22 AMWell, I have decided to go to the doctor, but first I will wait to see how the traction therapy works. My plan is to go in July or August. Because if I have to have surgery, the idea would be to gain a few extra centimeters to cushion the loss caused by possible plications. Because if I gain 1/2 to 1 inch (1.25 to 2.5 cm) on both sides, that would benefit me. However, what worries me is the loss of the foreskin, as the overwhelming majority of Brazilians have their foreskin (approximately 93%).

I agree with your train of thought on trying to gain back size before you attempt surgery. Several members did, and there are some dramatic photos on the forum of improvements from either traction or VED, so there's a chance.

As for the foreskin, the penis adapts but i can understand because i wouldn't want to lose mine either.... but if i am not mistaken, not all of them remove your foreskin.

Hey alex_be,

yes I fully understand the fear of traction. I never moved from manual traction to using a device due to pain of the clamp and lack of a urologist who knows and teaches how to apply it properly.

---

I read you use 1.66mg of Tadalafil in your footer. Do you use it daily or do you use 5mg ever 3 days? My personal experience was that not using it daily made an impact on my erection strength depending on how far I was from the dosis.
Could it be that the changes you see come from the fluctuations of the levels of the Tadalafil in your body?

e.g. my erections look different with Tadalafil as they are fuller compared to without.

Anyway, only a urologist can tell if it is something new or maybe only hyper focus? I sometimes have this anxiety where I feel something like a vein on the penis and think it is a new plaque...

On Keloids/Hypertrophic Scars: These are ways some peoples scars develop. e.g. for some people scars on the skin "bulge out"  To my understanding these are genetic.

On Fibroblasts->Myofibroblasts: My understanding is that when you have an injury the fibroblast cells in that area multiply. Fibroblasts are responsible to deposit new collagen to create new tissue. Then depending on the severity of the wound fibroblasts can differentiate to myofibroblasts. These also deposit collagen, but these also have a way to "pull together" thus they are the thing that closes the "gap" of a wound. Depending on the genetics some keep pulling longer, some shorter, some deposit more collagen, some less, ... Depending on all of these it decides the type of scar we get for a penile injury (be it induced by a fracture, trauma, micro trauma, autoimmune reaction, etc.).

In Peyronies Disease, we often have overactive myofibroblasts that won't go away, thus they keep pulling and we do "lay down" collagen in different patterns compared to normal penile tissue. So they pull together and then lock themselves in with the collagen tissue.

I am no medical professional, so take my descriptions with a ton of salt and suspicion ;). It is just how I came to understand the disease and it's progression.

I also want to know if anyone has tried DMSO + collagenase???
It seems like it would make so much sense. Collagenase is already effected when injected. DMSO is proven to help substrates penetrate the plaque. It stands to reason that DMSO would help the collagenase penetrate the plaque and have a similar effect to Xiaflex, perhaps even better as you can do it from home on a regular basis and at affordable price.

What do you guys think??
I haven't researched too much yet but it looks like collagenase can easily be purchased online as both a powder and an ointment.

Quote from: Mikel7 on February 03, 2026, 04:26:46 PMSorry for having to deal with uneducated Dr's. There are a lot of them! You may well have a 40 * curvature. You are not imagining this but it is upsetting so Dr's will say your crazy.

I'm still trying to persevere with my traction routine but I keep finding myself needing to stop after a couple of weeks in a row because it eventually leads to pain.

Im doing 30 mins straight traction twice per day and I'm not even burying the white lines at this point. So very much keeping things conservative.

I might get the odd twinge here and there but I never experience any sharp or significant pain during the stretch...but the next day I get that sunburn type feeling right in the middle of the plaque.

I just don't know what to do.
