Title: Constant pain for 3 days
Post by: Blue25 on February 04, 2020, 08:27:11 PM
I have been experiencing soreness/ sharp quick pains/ feelings sort of like a sprain when I walk/ general pain on my penis and or groin. Sometimes I feel the pain on the inside of my thigh. I'm not sure why. Also my doctor told me he thinks I might have fibrosis of the cavernosum... is that like permanent damage? Can that be reversed? He said something about unilateral and bilateral fibrosis.   Can anyone give me some more knowledge on what this means?

Thray to take anti-inflammatory druga 2-3 Times a day. That is all i can recommend. And i have one question. Can corporal fibrosis be palpated ? How it feels ?

And yes this desease is wierd you can get total spontaneous resolution even without any treatment but it is rare, you can get spontaneous resolution to some point when this dont bother you... And of corse it can stabilize or progress. Thaat is think that is killing me. No one on this earth can tell you how will this ands up....

I experienced something similar to your symptoms in the beginning of my peyronies. Could be nerve damage, could be from thrombosis of the vein.

If the doctor said there was fibrosis - start medication early - pentox, cialis daily, L arginine etc (check the forums here).. VED and traction as well. Chances are you can heal over time if you start early.

I have been doing light hand Traction. I'm just nervous cause my scar is literally right under my glands. When I'm soft it feels like it's in my glands a little bit. So sometimes when I do traction, afterwards I'm a little more curved at the tip.

Is fibrosis super serious? Like incurable like peyronies?

Blue, what I'd recommend is to get an MRI or ultrasound to rule out fibrosis. Don't do anything more for the time being. If your doctor doesn't want to do that get a second opinion. MRIs can see any internal fibrosis for the most part. Ultrasounds too if it's really major. Besides that I'd recommend heat therapy and to make sure you rest, get enough sleep, eat your vegetables and fruits for those micronutrients and to not overeat as well. But tbh just get those scans if you want a definitive answer and not a guess. jj21 is right about Cialis however, definitely jump on that if you find out that's causing your issue. Best wishes man.

I have gotten an ultrasound, it showed two little specks of scar tissue in the center of my cavernosum. What would fibrosis look like of an ultrasound.

Is the difference is that fibrous tissue is more diverse through the cavernosa and plaque is consolidated as in a scar on the tunica?

From what I've read scarring is the response to injury, it's a form of fibrosis. How big were the specs? Also were they restricting bloodflow at all? If not then it's not a huge concern. Also like we talked about earlier Cialis is actually a good treatment for this, especially in your case. I'd discuss it with your doctor. If you don't wanna do that just increase exercise, get that blood flowing and also take things like Argenine or L Citrulline. They help increase Nitric Oxide which is what your body uses to produce erections. But I'd definitely recommend resting the penis overall.

I haven't been waking up with morning wood. Instead my penis is elongated and curved left since it presses and beds against the bed I guess when I'm on my back... it doesn't hurt but this is really getting to me. I cant keep guessing what the next day will bring. It's getting way, way too much for me

Thats why you may need a new urologist to see the extent of the scar tissue. Also, check your heart health too and make sure you don't have any blood pressure issues. If your urologist isn't giving you better treatment and helping you, you need to proactively look for a better one. Also, how did your penis get damaged? What type of injury?

I have no recollection of how this all started. It just came up one day.

Okay, sorry man. But I hope you get a more detailed answer of exactly what is causing the issue. I know there's scar tissue like your doc said. But they should be able to let you know if you damaged an artery or if the scar is somewhat occluding it.

Don't be sorry, sorry if I came off short there. I'm just the most scared I've ever been through this whole experience. Waking up with my penis curving how it is and tucking under my leg is a terrible way to start a day.

Oh don't worry man, I feel for you. We're all here trying to help out each other. For now just try something cheap like heat therapy, I use a rice sock. It's low risk and just gets the blood flowing. Also I go commando when sleeping to prevent any sort of restrictions so I can have full erections and prevent any injuries. To warm up a rice sock get two microwave safe containers, fill a sock with rice, like at least a cup, tie it up and put it in one container. The other container needs to be filled with water. Then warm it up for about a minute to a minute and 20 seconds. Then leave rice sock on the penis for about 15 minutes at a time. If it's too hot don't put it on till it's a little cooler. Shouldn't hurt or sting.

I use the rice sock, as well, and it does wonders for pain and getting the blood flowing better.  I use a meat thermometer to get the temp of the sock before I put it on.  It should not be more than 45-50 degrees C, otherwise you could cause cellular death.
