Title: First post - Looking for help finding a competent URO guy here in Michigan
Post by: Rocks2 on January 17, 2023, 11:53:38 AM
Hey guys,

Had my first appointment with a URO guy here in Grand Rapids, MI. He gave me a lot of information and quick manual inspection of plaque, but no real plan on how to proceed. Gave me the impression that he didn't feel my problem was worth bothering about due to no pain and just moderate curve. Wanted to see Dr. Ludlow in Holland due to his great reviews. Sadly, he just retired in Dec. 2022.

Anyone seen a competent URO here in Michigan that you would recommend? Interested in possible Xiaflex injections, Cialis, ultrasound to rule out possible venous leakage issues, testosterone labs due to low sex drive/ED issues, also have hypothyroid issues since mid 30's that may be a factor here also.

Was glad to find this forum and have been reading a lot here. Hope to resolve my Peyronies Disease/ED issues this year.

Would appreciate any recommendations for a URO here in Michigan. Thanks!

40 degrees is a moderate curve. Read the following if you haven't already. It will provide some background on using traction which seems to be the best line of defense so far. I drive about 3 hours to see Dr. Levine at Rush University in Chicago. I think would be about the same length of drive for you.

Thanks for the recommendation LWillisjr.

Will give Dr. Levine's office a call and see if they take my insurance. This will probably be out of network, but willing to go and see what he has to say.
